Ruth's Chris Steak House, San Antonio TX

Had been a while since last visit to RC. Not really looking forward to going. I was very pleased. They exceeded my expectations. Perfect steak, great sides and drinks. Proper service. I'll be back.

My cousins and I came here on our girl's trip and the food was awesome. Our server, Gabriel, was amazing and provided excellent service.thank you for a pleasant and enjoyable experience!

This meal did not disappoint. I made a reservation through Open Table and as soon as we got to the hostess area, we were taken to our table. Our waiter Fergus was very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. He offered suggestions and our drinks were spot on. Hubby had the Tomahawk and I had the crab cakes. We shared the brussel sprouts and the lobster mac and cheese. Everything was so delicious and presented fantastically! We will definitely be coming back.

Nice to know we have a restaurant of this caliber just a couple hours from Corpus Christi. My wife and I like to take day trips here and there and our first visit to Ruth’s Chris was amazing. Come for the steaks, stay for the sides! We will definitely be back.

Fried Voodoo shrimp in spicy cream sauce is perfection. Bar service and atmosphere is 5 stars. Will return for sure.

Top notch service and amazing food. Was able to get a table last minute on mothers day and happened to be my dads birthday. Tony at the bar has been there over 2 decades. Amazing service and great at remembering people. We had Mark as our waiter and treated my mom as if she was his mother. My dad is constantly joking around about eating hotdogs at places he knows doesn't serve them. Mark played along and said here is you ribeye hotdog but that they were out of buns. My 76 yr old father loved it. We love coming here and will get pictures next time, just were happy to find an adult atmosphere on mothers day last minute. Looking forward to going again to see Tony, if you go tell Tony I sent you there. Just say the guy and his wife that was sneaking drinks on mothers day to get through the night while with parents.

Excellent service, great food. I was a first timer and let me say that the Voodoo Shrimp and Harvest Salad are a MUST! Kudos to the management and staff.

Prepaid for mother's day tickets for 6 of us and requested outside seating on the reservation. Food was great but the service not so much. Hostess sat us outside and we were forgotten by the staff. I think our waiter was the bartender and was too busy serving drinks to attend to us. By the time we ordered food around 7pm they had run out of ribeye and pork chops and we had to reorder different items. As it got dark we were left out in the dark and we had to go inside to ask if they could turn some lights on. We asked for bread and never got it. At the end the moms were supposed to receive wine glasses and wine bottles. They got glasses but they never got the rest even after asking for it.

The food and service was amazing. From the greeting to the end of us leaving. Thank you for the hospitality sometimes it’s hard to come by nowadays but if you’re looking for a great steak house with great service this one won’t let you down. Also our server Keri P (as it says on the receipt) was absolutely wonderful. She gave us such amazing service and deserves some recognition if you ask me! She even brought me out a dessert for my birthday and coffee before our long drive home during the big storm. Thank you again!

Best steak I have ever had! Amazing! Melted in my mouth! The staff was very kind and attentive! Loved it!

Fergus our waiter was amazing! His hospitality and character made me and my wife's anniversary and my wife's birthday one to remember. Very rarely do you find such great company and service like his any longer. Dinner was amazing. Fergus' recommendations were spot on and delicious. Give this man a raise! Will definitely be regular customers!

Great place to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday. The food, the atmosphere, and the service.awesome.

My wife ordered the filet steak at Medium rare. Her steak was thick flavorful and cooked to perfection; However, I ordered Ribeye rare plus which should be the most flavorful steak. The steak was barely 1/2 inch thick and disappointedly was medium. Our waiter never came by to check up on our steaks. The potatoes au gratin lacked in flavor and were disappointing. $61 for a steak I expected to be wowed and Left disappointed. The creamed spinach use to have a punch to it with the Cayenne Pepper and now has no flavor to it at all. 3/5 stars was a generous rating based on the lack of the quality of the so called 2% of the top usda prime steaks they claim to serve and the flavorless sides.

I believe my waitress was Monica or Marissa, young blond lady. She was very efficient. Manager very nice too. I was tired from travel and nice to have great food and service.

Waiter was ok, food was prepared incorrectly, it was a fly roaming around landing on the bread. I went to celebrate my Son’s 26th birthday and waiter asked I said yes that’s why we are here. She never acknowledged nor came to the table to sing happy birthday. When it was another couple which was another race but his birthday was acknowledged. Felt very rushed not what I’m used to, especially when coming from California and dining at the Beverly Hills location.
