Sabor A La Mexicana reviews
13The food has no flavor, in fact the chilaquieles were green, they didn't come with sauce, only on the roasted onion, they added a little green sauce, I ordered the eggs medium and they were raw, the white stuff had a lot of oil under the potatoes and eggs. I was disappointed.
Sabor has some of the best Michelada‘s that I’ve had in a while! The food has always been great. It’s a great atmosphere, and the staff is always so nice. And when I’m sick, their caldo de res hits the spot! Some of the best caldo!
The food and service were great. Love that you get two dips for your chips (salsa and bean).
First time here, my beautiful daughters and I had a brunch after church with church friends and I must say great food, service, and as always great company.
Be careful on their price that does not mean that’s what they are gonna charge you when you leave No Happy Hour price. It’s just a myth.
Came to enjoy the Mariachi and celebrate a birthday! The Mangonada margarita was delicious & beautiful. Be careful what you order though they either don't know their menu or don't know how to make it because certain drinks are "unavailable" & to be questioned as to where I found it and "they don't make those" when it was on their regular menu was a little upsetting. Food was good if you live close would be a regular go to place. I wouldn't make an extended trip to come here. Ordered something that came with avocado nope. Friend ordered corn tortillas got flour. Things like that but the mariachi @ $20/song did great!
They always overcharge us for something, so I've learned to check before I pay. Service is a hit or miss at this point. This used to be our favorite spot but everytime we go back it just gets worse.
Because I had the fajita nachos I'm giving food a 3. The cheese was not a favorite but the fajita meat was good. My margaritas are always yummy. A new server needed more help. I will be back.
I've only gone for breakfast, but even the lunch and dinner menu listings looked delicious. Very Clean very spacious. The staff is very pretty and very nice. Very welcoming environment. Will be going again.
Great service, and they also had a mariachi group on Friday. We ordered the paririda for 2 and there is plenty more than 2 people can eat.
The service is amazing, the vibe and overall experience with the service team as a whole was great. Even though this was authentic Mexican Food, it was not the best Mexican food. I have had Mexican food in many states. Even in the deepest parts of Mexico. Something about this food screams, frozen ready to cook. Honestly, after living in Houston for 17 years and moving to Arizona for 3 years and coming back to Texas to San Antonio for the second time. Just my own personal opinion…Arizona has (better) some great Mexican Food. Just my own personal opinion. This food at this restaurant in particular says, " I’m kind of pricey but my quality isn’t exquisite. " On the plus side, the overall experience was not bad, the service team make up for the mediocre food. The team was skillfully divine and attentive. You can even pay 20 dollars to have the mariachi band play a beautiful song at your dinner table. My husband said that the mix drink was so strong that his brain went numb. Glad I don’t drink. In conclusion, great team, beautiful restaurant and average food. Enjoy guys!
We just discovered this gem and it is phenomenal! The food is amazing and fresh, and the service is never bad
Definitely authentic Mexican food. Tacos de pescado was good. When it cools off I'll go back and try the menudo.
