Sabor Colombia Restaurant reviews
13It is very gratifying to arrive at a place where you feel in your country and this was one of those moments, thank you
I ordered tamales and they were really salty. My friend ordered steak and there was more fat than anything. Me being Colombian I was very disappointed even with the customer service. We are loving and caring people. Terrible customer service. What looked the manager was sitting there gossiping about her personal life. Just very unprofessional.
I had the pleasure of visiting Sabor Colombia in Round Rock and was impressed by the authenticity of the dining experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality that reflected Colombian culture. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and familiar. The Colombian music playing in the background added a special touch, making the experience even more authentic. Ideal for both intimate dinners and family gatherings.
When I walked inside the order. No one spoke english not even a little bit. It took forever to order because, in my opinion, the staff wouldn't even attempt to understand me. I finally got help from another customer. Also I wanted a small container of rice. The lady in front said the kitchen was closed but I could see the cooks back there cooking. When she finally asked about the rice.she was telling them to say no. Now I have to driver somewhere elas to get rice. How are you going g to have a restaurant where NOT ONE PERSON speaks even a little English. Personally I think they could understand me an just pretended not to.
I will not be going back there. Ever
The food was delicious, they treated us very well, the waiting time was short, and the best thing is that we enjoyed ourselves as a family and enjoyed it.
I don’t know if they changed management or ownership but this place went is terrible. Customer service is the worst I have ever experienced… DO NOT GET THE NATURAL JUICES. So expensive and they taste like water down milk. They didn’t care that I was unhappy with the juice they said “too bad” I will never eat here again.
Bandeja paisa, picada and chuleta were really good. Sancocho the gallina was really watery and salty. Delicious colombian juice, excellent service, and amazing environment with my favorite salsa music.
Love this place! My favorite are the arepas! I got arepas with chorizo and chicharron, amazing! Plantains with cheese, was new for me and will have it no other way now. Don't forget to try the sauces with the food! Coffee was great, strong, not bitter. Had to order a 2nd cup. They're unfortunately hidden by the road construction but so worth the drive down.
The Colombian food is delicious. I tried all the other Colombian in austin and was awful and over priced. They make the food, picante, and on de queso like your supposed to. Delicious food and nicest people that care about customers
I had an absolutely amazing experience at Sabor Colombia Restaurant! I visited this restaurant to celebrate my birthday, and it was a fantastic choice. The ambiance was warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a special occasion.
Now, let's talk about the food. The Bandeja Paisa was out of this world! Every element on the plate was perfectly prepared, and the flavors were incredibly authentic. It's a true Colombian culinary masterpiece. But the real star of the evening was the Cheesecake. It was a heavenly dessert - creamy, rich, and oh-so-delicious. I couldn't get enough of it!
The staff at Sabor Colombia was exceptional. They were attentive, friendly, and made the evening even more enjoyable. Their excellent service added to the overall charm of the restaurant. To top it off, the drinks were fantastic too, and they complemented the meal perfectly.
I can't recommend Sabor Colombia enough. If you want to enjoy delicious Colombian cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere with top-notch service, this is the place to go. I will definitely be returning for more culinary delights. A five-star experience all around!
Not sure if the guy there is the owner but he made us feel super welcome.and the bandeja paisa.woooowww.very good
Small Colombian restaurant. The food was truly delicious! I had someone with me who spoke Spanish and ordered for us, so that helped
Service was quick. Ordered the Paisa but meat was a little tuff, beans were cold. Also ordered bunuelos they did not taste right. Maybe they were refrigerated. The pan de bono were perfect. Empanadas not what we expected. The fresh juices are good. They also forgot my cofee.
