The best kbbq experience I've had. The service is crazy good and the food is just I'll be back

Annie is extraordinary professional. She knows how to treat, cook, and serve. Five times so far but they should have more Annie or raise her. She is different and best.
Beef and Pork meat qualities are very good.

We came at around 6 pm on a Wednesday and on top of having quality meat selection and amazing side dishes, our server Jenny was super friendly, professional and amazing at her job.

We got the beef combo for 2 people, kimchijigae, steamed egg with cheese and corn, won soju and soda. With tip, everything was around ~$160. We came out SA. TIS. FIED.

Thank you to the rest of the staff here as well for an amazing delicious and efficient experience! We'll definitely be back and would recommend this to anyone looking for a quality KBBQ and service!

Average… Just another place. It’s rare that the waiter chases after you outside for more tip… Creating an embarrassing situation for your party. Will not return.

As the number one person who has experienced all of the Korean franchise restaurants, I have been to Baek Jong-won's Saemaeul Restaurant a few times since it opened, and it's amazing! It’s different from an ordinary meat restaurant~ I’m writing a review today because I was surprised! If you don't eat flower meat, you'll regret itAwesome! It feels like it melts in your mouth! It's been a while since I felt this! Definitely recommend the first-class meat restaurant in Dallas!

Add Saemaeul (old C Grill space) to your ever growing list of places to try but move it to the top and go!
Friends and I ordered the XL mixed combo, an order of pork jowl, and scallion pancake and it comfortably fed us 6. Y’all, you wouldn’t think a scallion pancake would wow us but it was the best I’ve had around Dallas. It doesn’t have that “frozen” packaged taste.
The quality of meats were. Marinated meats were not overly sweet and the non-marinated meats had amazing beef flavor

The meat quality is perfect! All the side dishes are delicious and I want to come here every day! Finally a good restaurant in Dallas!

The food is great. However, why do you put the 20% serving charge (tip amount) in the bill? It’s confusing and misleading. See the bill below: now I am been charged total $74 just for the tip part. This is ridiculous. The meal is $191.94.

Update 9/27: I was charged $74 for tipping.

Very nice to eat at. Max occupancy at each table is 4 people. I would say this location is a better experience for a smaller group of people than Ari, but if you want a birthday dinner go to Ari. Wish we knew before we headed here!

Meat was very delicious, one of the best briskets in the area and one of the best kimchi soups! Service was excellent and everything was cooked very well.

Saemaeul is a very popular kbbq chain in south korea and their locations are always full! You can enjoy some delicious kbbq korea style without flying 15 hours.
This particular location has some great combo at amazing prices. The service is attentive and as an avid kbbq lover, this spot is the best in town. Would recommend coming here to have a taste of Korea.

I ordered meat, but the soybean paste stew was very tasteless.
They didn't even give me food until I asked for it.
I was shocked that steamed egg did not come in the combo.

Everything was delicious and the service was top tier. I would definitely recommend this place for a night out with friends or even lunch/dinner with family.

Decent food and bbq. Lots of side dishes and great service. Some sides were just okay - too salty or just not much flavor. Meat was good but overall i feel like there is room for improvement for the quality and flavor for the given price.
It’s a franchise restaurant from Korea but the quality was not as great as the ones in korea. The atmosphere feels unique and cool like you’re sitting in a retro 90-00s era in the korean streets.
Good to stop by one time for the experience but it wasnt a 5 star taste for me.

The meat quality is really high with everything just melting in your mouth. The side dishes are plentiful with a nice variety of different veggies and soups.

The famous dish here is the pork kimchi mix where you get a reduced kimchi pork stew that you mix with rice. The tangyness of the kimchi and pork mixes well with the fluffy white rice.

All in all, I'd say this is good competition for ari down the street, with Saemaeul being the better choice if you want a more classic korean-esque kbbq

I got double charged and called them to ask for refund. Nothing happened after the call. So I went to the store directly asked for solution, but was told that the owner was not there so they can’t do anything but text me. After 10 days, the double charge was still on my account and they didn’t do anything to make it right.

The food is below average to the k bbq places I have been in DFW. Not recommended and not mention this bad billing experience.
