Saffron Indian Kitchen reviews
15Came here for the lunch buffet and it was amazing! The food was delicious (some of the best tandoori chicken I've ever had, plus amazing naan and the usual delicious curry, saag paneer, etc.). Our server was wonderful as well-attentive and very friendly. Would definitely go back.
The girls and I always grab dinner here on our business trips! Good food, nice service and a pleasant environment! They have white linens on the tables and nice place settings too so we often take our out of town coworkers here as well.
Amazing food, excellent service by Jon! Thanks for suggesting the Tandoor, it was delicious! All the items were very good. Ending the meal with Rasmalai was just perfect.
Really yummy food - loved their Cauliflower Manchurian and daal Makhni. Definitely recommend
The converted building is clean and stylishly decorated but not overdone.
The food was authentic. We ate from the buffet, and offerings were fresh and delicious.
The service was great. As my glass was empty, it was refilled before I could request a refill. Staff were friendly and welcoming.
I will definitely return often.
New place with an awesome ambiance and interior. Food was amazing and since we had children we requested the food to be mild and they delivered. It was not spicy and still full of flavor. We had half vegetarian and half meat eaters and everyone was satisfied. You should definitely try this place.
We had a wonderful dinner at Saffron Indian Kitchen. Excellent service, and delicious food with generous portions. We had Veg saffron grill, shahi paneer, malai kofta, paneer makhani, garlic and butter naan. Everything had great flavor. If you’re like me and eat *really* spicy, then ask for your order to be prepared extra spicy as their curries were on the milder side.
Overall, Saffron was great and its going to be our go-to place for nice family meals. Give it a try and you will see for yourself.
Absolutely the best Tandoori chicken I've ever had! It was a little crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The waiter explained how they make it the traditional way with wood fire. The Butter chicken had just the right level of spiciness. The drinks were on point. And the Masala chai made from scratch was the best! This place is classy and elegant to celebrate your social events. It also has an intimate and elegant bar.
Very good food, large menu but not overly so. The cocktails were delicious. Good atmosphere, great service and very clean all around. Will be back and enjoyed it very much! Thank you!
Not meet up to the medium expectations, spices are not used properly, Bread (Naan) was so think n uncooked seems made with tight dough.
Below aware taste.
Less starter options, common menu
Mediocre food. Small portions. Rice is not included. Rice costs additional $12 and it was awful because a lot of butter in it. Ice cream was delicious. You pay just for interior. Definitely no again.
Food was good, restaurant was clean! Huge selection of alcohol and wine. Has a bar dining area and private area.
Service was amazing! The buffet was good but I kinda wish there were more items on it, I'm not sure if buffet menu items are changed day to day. About 15-30$ a person take out.

Butter chicken, curry goat, chicken 65 were very good.
Lamb biryani, Naan, Yogurt were good.
Parking lot and inside is pretty big, I can see this place being used for business banquets, or family dinners.
Walking distance from the best western.
The parking lot had a tractor with no trailer, not sure if they allow trucks (18wheeler) to park, but there was one off to the side in the no parking area, personally as a driver I would not bring a trailer if they did.
This is the type of place where you're likely to bite into a whole cardamom pod, and that is very much not a bad thing in my book. When you ask for spicy, they bring the heat. The curries are fantastic. The portions are great and very well priced for the quality. When it comes to Indian food, I have my go-to's and a few dishes I tend to avoid because it's always more miss than hit, but I'm looking forward to trying out the ones I usually avoid because I have a feeling they do them right here.
Always a nice place to eat. The staff is very friendly and humble. The food is prepared with only fresh ingredients. The chicken tandoori is by far the best I have eaten in Houston. If you are wanting a taste of India this is the spot.
