11Beautiful day yesterday! Couldn't resist loading bikes with my sweet daughter and headed out to the parks. Such a fun way to spend an afternoon.
I loved the bicycle ride through here! In the summer it's cool by the river. And in the early morning I've seen an owl. It's good place to picnic and enjoy nature. Like getting back to God!
Took the kids for a walk cause they wanted to see the "pond" of what was left from a pond anyways they still loved it lol
My kids had fun on the playground and where able to have a good fun picnic time with some of my family.

What a wonderful place to spend the day. Open and beautiful. It's like a breath of fresh air - go and check this place out. You will not be disappointed. Bring a snack and a book and unwind outside. You'll thank me later. You're welcome.
This was at Comanche county park. The wife and I came to ride our bikes here. Was very nice. Lots of shade from the giant pecan trees. Was also windy. No mosquitoes what so ever. Not many people either. Great place to just chill with the kids and toss the football or play hide and seek. Will definitely be back for more. The park is also very well kept by the staff.
I just learned that this is recycled waste water.the wells/springs that used to feed it was capped years ago.
Kind of bummed about that.but at least it isn't a dry creekbed.so I have to take it how it is!
The Greenway Trail that goes south from IH-35 is the one that is the most level and has the most shade. It goes south to South Side Lions Park, about 7 easy miles.
Nice place to walk or run. I would not take my children to the playground anymore. A huge branch fell down while they were playing and bless no kid was hurt but it was scary.
