Restaurant Salata reviews
15I have been there only once after the remodel however everytime I order in person there seems to be upcharge on the price compared to ordering online. I have also noticed the customer service isn’t consistent. The food seems fresh and somewhat tasty though.
I been going to Salata restaurants for years! Still the same quality and great fresh food.
You must try!
The food is always good but the prices are a little high for salads but i guess it cost to be healthy.
I come here every day! Love it. Great customer service from everyone except the African American lady she’s very rude. (I am also African American so not being racist)
Such great salads. Always fresh! So many toppings you can have as many combinations as you like. Alway very clean! The team are always welcoming, super nice and fast and I do mean every time I’m there! Caro and management are rockstars.
Awesome place, the staff could be more informative though. As a first timer they didn't guide me at all, I realized after I paid some things I could have done differently
I absolutely love Salata! I don't like to complain ever but, today was just the last straw. I always order for pickup and something is always missing from my order. Today 8/24, the romaine hearts were not fresh at all, some of them were brown, and it wasn’t even crunchy! Mushrooms were black/soggy, the radish was not fresh or crunchy, the chipotle shrimp didn’t even taste like chipotle or anything at all. The chipotle ranch was more like a dip than a dressing, just the whole thing was awful! I still ate the food because I was hungry and spent almost $16 for a small salad.
The food there was good. It seems like nowadays, everybody who works in the service industry has this look of shock on their face and despair. Nobody says hello anymore, smiles. It would be nice to walk into a restaurant that did that
Aug 8th 2023 was my second time in this location and my last! The first time the employees barely spoke acted as if they just received some grim news.
The second time was worse! You get rushed through the line, I had to ask the young lady to slow down a moment because I wanted to add more toppings to my bowl that was swiftly pushed to to next station.
Then to the cashier! I wanted to use my rewards but she couldn't get the scanner to work so she asked for my phone number which I could barely understand and asked her to repeat, this woman yelled YOUR PHONE NUMBER. Ohhh my goodness! I have never had such a horrible experience in restaurants or retail until today at the Mason Rd location.
Best believe I told her don't you yell at me as I yelled my phone number to her. She became nice and acted like I would have expected from the beginning.
I dont know if the employees are on a timer, number driven or what but good customer service is not to be found.
This was my experience so if you've experienced better lucky you! But for the price of a customized salad definitely go elsewhere.
Not greeted. The lady who made my husband's wraps did not say ONE WORD to him. One of her coworkers walked passed and she looked at him and rolled her eyes! As of WE were a problem for being in there. It was an hour before closing, but come on. First bad experience at any Salatas location.
We love this place! Consistently fresh quality ingredients. Their ranch dressing is my favorite I’ve had anywhere! The proteins are all well-seasoned and yummy!
Excellent food and staff. I try to eat at Salata twice a week. Portions are big, food quality great, excellent teas and lemonades, tomato soup is yummy, pita chips to boot. Just a ton of options to put on your salad which includes seeds and nuts, fruits, and so much more. Allows me to try different foods that I normally wouldn’t try.
I tend to be a tough judge, but I find the staff to be just fine. Some are social and some just work hard.
Our kids really like this place too!
Possible areas for improvement:
Once only they were out of my dressing of choice
The spinach has a lot of stems. I’m not a big fan and I rip a lot of the stems off.
Tables are sometimes not cleaned right away.
Cookies are in the smaller side.
Price is slightly pricey as compared to unlimited soup and salad like at Olive Garden.
The place is great, I love the food, environment, I am 2-3 days a week. Since 2-3 months ago, but I see a lot a pressure in your employees when I choose my sides for the salad. I think that’s everyone’s complaints about it. But service 5, food 5, atmosphere 5 and employees attitude 2.5.
I’ve been to 3 different locations in the last 2 weeks. All excellent, all clean, all friendly, all with fresh food. Impressive.
