I love Studio 5014. I am new to Texas. I went to the same stylist for 18 years in New York.
We all know how important our hairdresser is to us…am I right?
I came to Studio 5014 after a recommendation by my daughter…she follows IG Influencers that go there.
I was taken in by the Dynamic Duo…Bridget and Darlene.
Bridget’s coloring skills are awesome and she is so sweet…so easy to talk to.
Then there is Darlene, who first gave me a great cut…then I went back for extensions. Darlene is equally as sweet and welcoming as Bridget.
I couldn’t be happier with my choice to go to Studio 5014…and with my girls Bridget and Darlene. ‍️

Scheduled an appointment with Make Up Artist Johnathan Ashworth. A week prior to the appointment we discussed what was needed for my client. We agreed and confirmed an appointment for May 28th at 12: 00 PM. He asked for my client's name and number so that he could contact her on Friday the day of the appointment. Thursday night he text me and asked how the payment would be done, I told him my client was paying and he said ok, gotcha cool. The day of my client's appointment he was not there, so I contacted him to check and see what was going on. He blocked my cellphone number and social media account before I could even get in contact with him. I think it was very inconsiderate and unprofessional also offensive to my client of him to do what he did. I tried contacting him for hours, he blocked my personal social media account when I tried to speak with him to get an understanding as to what went wrong. I would never recommend this artist to anyone. This is no way to treat a first time BRIDAL client who looked forward to booking for her big day. It is very upsetting and I hope he never treats anyone else like this ever.

Not sure why this is so common nowadays but the girl that they have answering phones had the most lack luster monotone, unprofessional voice when answering the phone. Not only did she sound unenthused and almost irritated to be answering the phone but she also was zero help with answering my questions. She basically told me to sift through Instagram to find a stylist. I told her that I don’t use social media anymore but she was reluctant to get my questions answered over the phone. It cost a lot of money to get your hair done these days. You just can’t escape the over pricing of everything in the beauty industry nowadays. The last thing I need is a monotone teenager answering the phones for a salon that they are only working at to get their discount. Like seriously how hard is it to sound friendly when answering the phone? She seriously sounded like a grumpy teenager. Litterally sooooo unprofessional... I’m 27 so it’s not like this is coming from a privileged 65 year old Karen.

I want to start by saying Zoey and Jennifer are amazing and this review would be a lot lower if not for them. However the front desk staff is incredibly rude! Its because of them that I will not be returning.

Josh the makeup artist is amazing, he is professional and does great with making sure my makeup is done exceptionally well. Josh will let you know what will work for your skin as well as what you can do to improve your skin. I would recommend Josh to anyone looking for a professional makeup artist that listens to what you are trying to achieve.

I booked a balayage with Amy KC Clough and this is what I got. I showed her pics of what I wanted (will include the pic below) and she said that was achievable and reasonable since the girl in the pic had dark hair like me. As you can see from the pics of what my hair turned out like, she wasn't even close to the picture. I've had my hair balayage before and everything Amy was doing was not at all balayage. She lied to me and told me everything was going "great" when my hair was in foils. What she did was give me partial highlights (only on the front of my hair) and called it balayage. When I left the salon, my hair was wet because the girl who cut it didn't have time to style it (which I was fine with) so I realized my hair looked this way the next day. I called and talk to a front desk staff member and told her what happened. She went to tell Amy the situation and came back saying that Amy knew she wasn't going to be able to get me to what the picture showed and that she "did the best she could with the time she had. " She then told me that I'd have to talk to the manager about the refund. Long story short- the manager told me I wouldn't get a refund bc I booked for a balayage and a balayage is 3 hours and she "did the best she could. " If this is the best someone can do for a balayage I'm not really sure why they're working in an upscale Dallas salon. I was offered to go back in to get it "fixed" but I refused to let someone who lied to me and still took my money touch my hair again. Amy KC Clough was dishonest with me, she didn't provide the service that I paid $220 for, and also ignored my DMs on Instagram about the situation. Overall, the customer service was horrible when I was trying to get a refund and clearly they have stylist who aren't qualified to work there. Also I think they fail to realize that people save their hard earned money to pamper themselves by getting their hair done, so getting it completely botched and refusing a refund is unacceptable.

I recently asked for a blonde balayage and i walked out of the salon with orange/mismatch streaks. I called the front desk to ask what could be done, and they put me with the same girl and as a result, my hair came out uneven and still not even close to being fixed. I complained again for the 2nd time, showed the front desk my hair, and she said i would have to pay for another person to fix.why would i pay for another persons mistake? Poor customer service on their end, and now when i tell people who did my hair, i will gladly tell them Salon 5014.

Trying a new salon can be really scary! Amy did a great job with my color and while I had some complications with my original cut by a different stylist, the owner stepped in and made sure I was left feeling great and beautiful. The owner is a delightful human being who runs the salon with decency and respect. Definitely a class act and they made me a loyal client. Anyone who goes out of their way to make sure you're pleased with the result is a rare gem in today's world!

Vanessa is my one and only hair stylist/color specialist I trust with my hair dreams! From the first appointment, she really understood what I wanted as far as color goes and every time, my dream of soft/subtle but a touch of light, she perfects! I usually go to her for balayage once a year and toner somewhere in between. The maintenance for my hair type/color is pretty easy and I appreciate her for always gettin it on point! <3

Vanessa Munoz is an absolute queen! I moved to Dallas two years ago and searched high and low for a new hairstylist I could trust. After a couple failed attempts I finally found Vanessa at Salon 5014. She does an amazing job every time! She walks me through the process, is super sweet and easy to talk to and always makes me feel super comfortable in her chair. I’m so happy I finally found a hairstylist I trust. Thank you, Vanessa!

I got my hair cut my Carlos after going about a year without a haircut and it looks so nice and fresh. Annie colored my hair and it’s such a pretty and natural looking blonde color. My hair has never looked so good! They are awesome!

I am new to Dallas and chose Salon 5014 due to their review. WARNING: the positive reviews are bogus. When making my appointment the receptionist sounded confused and was unable to answer basic questions such as cost and why all the different stylists I had to see to get my hair done. She also kept putting me on hold but finally got me scheduled. When I got to the salon the receptionist had made me 3 appointments for the that day. One girl for all over color; another girl for a cut; and another girl for a blow dry! I was there for 4 hours! When I checked out my cost was over $300! I wasn’t ever told that each stylist I saw charge separately for their service. Plus, I was very disappointed in my hair outcome. I do not recommend this salon. They’re a rip off and take advantage of new customers! DC

Well, I lived in California and waited until my visits to Dallas to get my hair done so Sheena could do it. Yes, she's that good. I have soft natural curls and they always pop and bounce after she styles my hair, while looking great when I want to blow them out. Ask for Sheena.

I was excited to try out a new salon here in Dallas and saw this one had great reviews! But unfortunately my bad experience started as soon as I walked in. They scheduled me incorrectly to the point where I had to pull up my bank records and call log to prove that I paid a deposit and called them to book an appointment. For someone who requires a $200 deposit, you’d think they’d be able to properly book an appointment. After that things just got worse from there. I showed my stylist, Vanessa Munoz, pictures of what I wanted for my hair. I let her know I wanted a rose pink color and to keep the top of my head brown like the picture I showed her. She was rushing through it and how i was going to be charged extra the longer she stayed in the salon to do my hair. She was not going to blow dry it so I could see the final results so i had to ask for this and again she mentioned I was going to be charged extra. I would assume a high class salon would want to do this for their client; or maybe next time book the appointment properly so there are no time constraints. Once my hair was dry, I was shocked by how it looked (nothing like the photo) and I expressed my unhappiness. She then became very defensive and rude towards me. She told me it was going to look good and once I expressed that I didn’t like it she said “I didn’t say it was going to look good the first day. ” She said if I wanted it fixed to how it was suppose to look that I had to either do it myself or come in for another service and pay again. She charged me for a full head of color; when I only wanted about half my hair colored. I can’t believe I spent over $500 on such a poor job. I have purple splotches in my hair when I never even asked for purple. My whole head is blonde when I didn’t ask for that. She didn’t listen at all and then did nothing but charge me extra for things out of my control. One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in a salon. Let me tell you, I did SO much research online to find a spot to fix my hair, and I landed on this salon because of the other great reviews and their abundance of photos on Instagram. I’ve had other more expensive stylists completely damage and ruin my hair so I haven’t trusted a salon in YEARS.

With Salon 5014, Absolutely NO REGRETS! Everything and everyone was friendly, professional, on-time, and clearly they are experts at their craft. Parking was easy and abundant.

I requested and had my appointment with Liz. She was extremely knowledgeable and completely fixed my hair. After a ton of research, I decided to go with the Brazilian Blowout and holy moly! I’ve never loved my hair so much. It’s so soft, cute, and smells great. (Before, it was coarse, thick, and frizzy when un-styled). I’ve gotten so many compliments already, and I just went in yesterday.

Also I was there for about 5 hours, so I got to watch other stylists working on their clients, and everyone’s hair looked amazing!

Guys I’m serious, don’t listen to any of the bad reviews. This is my new favorite salon!

Accompanied a friend getting their hair done as I am interested in coming here for mine. I saw a hair stylist arguing with a client when they expressed they did not like the outcome of their hair. Terrifying to know that if you do not like something they will argue with you and refuse to help accommodate you. Especially with how high end the salon is. I would have expected much better customer service. I heard her telling her she could do it herself or come in and pay for another full service just to fix it. That really turned me off from this place! I had high hopes but I suppose my search will go on.
