Salsas, Galveston TX

Had another great night at Salsas Mexican Restaurant! I visited here a year ago, and it’s still just as great as before. The portion sizes are very large, so order accordingly. I love that they have a Mariachi band that plays while you eat, makes it feel even more authentic. And the food never seems to disappoint. Every time I come to Galveston, I will always come to Salsas!

Decent food, Decent service. Nothing to write home about, but if you want Mexican food in Galveston go here

Fast service great food great wait staff and they made my nieces day by singing happy birthday to her I definitely plan to go back anytime I'm in Galveston

Very tex-mex, typical, nothing stood out, cheap and quick food. The baked potatoes fajitas were amazing, but otherwise food was okay. Too many selections for everything on menu to be fresh. Absolutly great service from server and overalll relaxing enviroment with normal noise music

We had Tammy as our server and she was so sweet. Checked on us a lot and the staff and food so good. This is a must eat stop in Galveston and when you go ask for Tammy to serve you.

1st anniversary dinner food was excellent staff was very nice and helpful but towards end of meal 2 roaches came running toward me. Got up paid bill and told our waitress then we left. Never to return.

Expedient service, delectable meals, fun vibes, proximity to the beach, great prices.what more could you ask?

This is our go to spot on the island. Great food, great drinks at a reasonable price (I always order the house margarita) and the service is great and speedy.

The food was subpar it wasn't authentic Mexican food it tasted mostly like stuff from a can if you go there thinking you're going to get authentic Mexican food you're wrong it's not going to be that was very disappointed paid over $90 and it was very disappointing will never go back there again. Then the waitress never refilled our drinks just left the sitting there. They tried to seat us right next to a restroom. Who wants to eat next to a restroom where people are using the bathroom. That's disgusting. The only good thing about the restaurant was a atmosphere but that was about it.

Excellent service from the waiter, the food tasted good, only there is not a good variety of non-alcoholic drinks. Machine only.

There was a long piece of hair in the food, and the to go container as well made me feel it was intentional since be showed it to the manager and he just got another container, without an apology. And we plated food to go discover hair in the food, we just left no
Fuse.

If you are looking for authentic Mexican food, this place is not it. The tortillas stink. The fajitas were lacking flavor, the vegetables weren't really grilled. Beans and rice need more flavor as well. The one good thing I can say is the margarita was pretty good and loaded, the premium patron margarita.

If you're looking for authentic Mexican food this is not it. I'm sorry but they need to step it up. The fabulous fajitas were lacking ING flavor! The only thing that was good was the patron margaritas and the guacamole was fresh.

Great customer service and excellent presentation of the food. Rice and beans on point. Salsas were not spicy but flavorful.

The quality is there, but the food is bland. I ordered a dish described as a spicy shrimp taco, but I rate it a 0 out of 5 on the spicy scale. Where is the flavor?

My Chile Poblano Chicken Enchiladas didn't really taste like it was made w/poblano peppers. Usually restuarants add real slices of the pepper. But this enchiladas was just the sauce w/ no flavor. My husband beef fajita Burrito, was more like ground beef Enchilada w/ too much melted cheese. That's Tex-Mex. NOT Mecican! Rice, quacamole, beans portion was like for a 1year old. But the $! Wasn't! And don't go after 9 pm. The crew that picks up stand around starting at you around w/ a annoying face to ser if you leave. HORRIBLE!
