Saltgrass Steak House reviews
20We sat at the bar, and it took awhile to get greeted. The steaks were cooked perfectly and delicious, but the chargrilled shrimp were overcooked and dry with burned tails. I would have been much more forgiving if my tea glass wasn't empty the majority of my dining experience.
My steak was way too pink to where I couldn't even eat it. Other than that, great food great service by Rebecca.
I used to love eating in, at this place. Due to Covid, we have ordered pick up a couple of times. Both times, I was disappointed. First time, I thought maybe it was just a fluke. With pick up, we do not receive the same quality of food. It's just left overs, carelessly thrown together. We just payed 100.00 for a nice little splurg meal for a date night at home, and it was a complete waste of money. We purchased two steaks, and they were flavorless, and rubbery. The first time we ordered pick up, my ceasar salad was wilted, and the leaves were turning brown. This place is giving us, what they cant get away with serving to customers who are eating in. I dont appreciate it.
Every since the pandemic it seems the portions are getting smaller and the price is getting bigger. Maybe it's just me but I use to leave feeling I got my money's worth.lately when I leave I have a sense of regret.
The steaks, cooked to perfection. They also have the best chicken fried steak. Huge portion. The reason I'm hooked? Two words, carrot cake!
Hard to get a table, but the food was excellent! Great service, and they even made special accommodations for my husband who has a sore mouth from chemo!
Well it was good, but disappointed that they didn't have the steak medallions with the chimichurri sauce. And we notice prices went up. During this time of hardship prices increases are not prudent. Would like to see some changes. Thank you for giving opportunity to express concerns.
The chicken fried chicken was delicious and the mashed potatoes and gravy were good. My Son had a ribeye and he said it was excellent.
Great food, drinks were on par. Great bartender and very nice manager. Comped our meal bc it took an hour which was not necessary but we were very appreciative.
We had a big party, server was a little slow but like I said, we had a big party, overall everything was good
Have to say that I was totally through the experience that I received at this place. I only did not care for the time that I had to wait for my food. Besides that the food was immaculate especially the great cocktails. My family and I plan on visiting this place again very soon. Additionally I love the to go boxes that they give you. Little things like that really makes a big difference
It was fantastic best place to go eat recommend to everybody to go eat there it is the best thing to go the steak was fantastic desert was fantastic everything was fantastic
Fantastic busy restaurant. Staff were very friendly and the menu was varied and very yummy. Totally recommend.
Food quality and taste was overall very good. Staff is friendly although I can’t help but getting that ‘message on repeat’ kind of feeling sometimes, although it does not really bother that much. Had the prime rib which was amazing a little more fatty than i would have expected, but again a very enjoyable meal
An EXCELLENT place to dine, dressed up or dressed down and, even with the bar, this place is a perfect place for families.
Food. Your steak will be PERFECTLY prepared to your level of pleasure. I highly recommend the ribeye (my mouth waters with the memory) as it is tender, juicy and the perfect size at 12oz. Pair it with a fully loaded baked potato and you are most sure to leave there with a full and satisfied belly.
I also recommend the Spinach and Artichoke Dip as a starter. Note: Get two dips if sharing, only enough for one person, though there are plenty of chips. If not too hungry, get a bowl of their Chicken Tortilla Soup. No extras required on that soup.
Service. I sat at the bar and NEVER, even with a full bar- had to ask to have my drink refilled because Nicole and Rob kept me full. Before I even had the thought, my drink was ready. Plus, food is served promptly and hot, at least mine was.
Noise level/Atmosphere. While it is a bar, music does play, it is still quiet enough to enjoy a conversation normally. And, don't be surprised if you make friends and your conversation covers half the bar. It is friendly, laid-back and open to everyone.
The worst service I have ever had at this establishment. Steak was minute, potatoes were undercooked & this will be our last visit there!
Great food. Excellent customer service! The carrot cake is delicious Our server, Armando was great. I do recommend this place and don't forget to ask for Armando. Enjoy!
For the food i rate 4 star. But the customer service at the bar is bad. The lady at the bar works like a robot.
Service was blah and super super slow for lunch, food was blah and overcooked. Drinks did not taste very good. Had associate with me who was very concerned as well since we were missing our conference due to wait, we had a generous 1 hr 20 min lunch break. Took almost that long to receive meal. New shoestring asparagus not working for them. Ceasar salad ultra tangy & concentrated. Chicken and steak overcooked. We did not have time at this point to allow them to make it right. Also did not want to interrupt conference squeeking a box to try to eat upon return.
I don't recall having this kind of experience at any other location I frequent. Never one to complain, always expect a great Business Lunch at Saltgrass and felt like everything delivered was problematic. I felt uncomfortable to frequently tell waitstaff items did not taste good. $60.00 later we still had to stop elsewhere for food and our Conference noticed we were the only individuals very late upon return. Hope things improve.
Stood waiting next to the pick up area for 5 minutes before the first person looked at me. Order was said to be ready online but waited an additional 10 minutes after being recognized. Stood next to two managers that clearly had other things on their mind.
