Saltgrass Steak House, San Antonio TX

Bartenders are cool and conversational and the ambiance is smooth and relaxed. Great place for Dinner or a long lunch and not crazy loud like other steak places. I highly recommend going to lunch and treating yourself with the 10oz Pat's Ribeye and a tasty beer.

The service wasn’t bad, but the quality of the steak wasn’t really anything special. I would rate a steak from the Texas Roadhouse right next door just as good and even more tender for a cheaper price. The jalapeño shrimp appetizer was the highlight of the meal. The staff was very friendly. It’s also worth noting the beer selection was pretty sad with only one beer that wasn’t a stock domestic.

It was an amazing steak dinner. We treated our son to a sirloin steak dinner, as congratulations for becoming an Airman. We would definitely recommend dining here!

Came here for the first time today October 2nd for lunch. I ordered a Pat's Ribeye, medium rare, but it was cooked well done. It tasted really good, but well done, really?
It was a really think steak too. Another disappointment. We will be back eventually.

Great food but I wouldn't recommend eating at the bar. I think you get better service from the dinning room.

Stopped by today w my mother and brother. We had the thanksgiving meal w turkey, green beans, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, and cranberry sauce. Everything was top notch. The turkey was succulent and mashed potatoes as creamy as can be. And Our waiter was even better. I believe his name was Matt. That man definitely deserves a promotion. His level of hospitality was next level. His ability to handle multiple tables w ease and keep a level head was extremely impressive. We Will definitely be back for more great food.

Very friendly staff and the food was great. Lunch portion of chicken fried steak was great and the cheese burger just as good.

Due to staffing service was slow, didn’t affect the quality of food or service. Bartender was awesome drinks kept coming no delays. I’d go back any day. Steak was a nice pink medium rare.
