Saltgrass Steak House reviews
16 My family loves this place! We've been dining here for years.sometimes a celebration, sometimes Just Because. Nice staff, great food, clean restrooms, nice drinks. All around Pleasant Experience
Highly Recommend the Red fish & all steaks are tender
Shout out to Mngr. SAM! Nice Gentle Giant. Sam makes sure you're happy!
I've been going to Saltgrass since I was a kid and the quality of the food today was horrible. I didn't even eat, I understand shortening the menu but if you are going to do that at least make sure everything is top notch, it was like they didn't care.
We were in town for a football game and were staying close by for the game. We haven’t had much luck at our local Saltgrass, but thought we would try this one since we were wanting steak.
We walked in and were greeted by a very nice professional lady who took us to our booth and she was so polite.
Our waiter was young and maybe this was one of his first jobs. He was trying very hard and was doing a good job. He too was polite with great customer service.
Food was good (a little salty) but good. People watching their salt might was to be cautious of it.
Over all experience…. Was great. This place has their stuff together! Staff helped each other out and everyone seemed friendly.
Customer service was great!
Food and service are lacking. Took over an hour to get a cheeseburger. Understaffed. Need more servers.
This place is consistently good. I ordered a 6 oz sirloin that was cooked perfectly medium rare. The service is always very good and polite and professional. My favorite there is their drink called a white cosmopolitan. You owe it to yourself to try one. Is happy holidays
So the restaurant is 1/2 empty, many tables not being used, it is 11: 50 AM and the lunch crowd is waiting at the door, waiting 15 minutes to be seated even there are over a dozen tables not in service. So if customer just had an hour to eat, they don’t wait 15 minutes to be seated, they leave. So every minute more customers enter and are told about the wait and then leave. In the 10 minutes I’ve been waiting I have seen over 20 people who wanted to eat here just leave. That is a lot of lost revenue. And that is just for 10 minutes. I wonder how many customers don’t eat here due to the wait time, a wait time that is artificially created due to all the tables not being utilized. It is nuts. If this is due to a labor shortage then pay the employees more, or pay them enough, so that you are not losing thousands of dollars per day in lost revenue. Some companies are offering signing bonuses, but most have found it is very effective to PAY YOUR EMPLOYEES MORE. Pay more than your competitors and you will hire more and you will serve more customers and you WILL MAKE MORE MONEY. This is real simple, pay more, hire more, and make more. Pay more instead of having disappointed customers who leave instead of eating there, they will dine and return, as opposed to not dinning and never returning.
Also, beware of the sidewalk ramp leading up to the front door from the handicapped parking area, there a horseshoes embedded in the concrete and some have poke up through the concrete creating trip hazards, on a handicapped ramp, and others have gone missing creating just the opposite effect, there are holes in the concrete shaped like horseshoes, and both of these are problems for any one who has mobility challenges, for example those who use walkers, or have problems navigating an incline. The last place you want to have any trip hazards are on a handicapped ramp.
The service was excellent, the food great, my server was named Brenda and she could not have done any better, it was perfect. Perfect service from an imperfect restaurant.
Essentially everything was perfect, except for the artificially created wait for a table. People on a 1 hour lunch should not have to wait for a table, unless all the tables are in use.
HIRE MORE PEOPLE!
It took 1 1/2 hrs to get my takeout order for a Salmom Caesar salad. The takeout girls were all over the place. It was Kaos on wheels watching and waiting as I did for a freaking salad!
Half rack ribs and shrimp ordered and the half rack is laughable. It is like a quarter size. The host does not seem to be friendly
My servers name was Brie. She came up to our table reeking like smoke, when we asked her about the specials she couldn’t remember any of them leading us to think she distracted by something. When we for a side plate she rolled her eyes at us and scoffed, which was poor customer service, and brought us our check two bites into the meal which made us feel unwelcome. Food was good, drinks were not great. Probably would not come back to this location
We had two Texas T-Bone steaks (both were cooked as requested). Their darkest beer on tap was still light for my taste but nonetheless went great with the steak. Our hostess was a sweetheart, friendly and professional. Overall wonderful experience, would definitely visit again.
This location is really good. Grilled chicken was moist and delicious. Bartenders are amazing. Drinks are always good, too.

We Went to have dinner are waiter was amazing
But I was very disappointed with my food asked for my steak well done and it was bloody red they forgot my husband's broccoli
Had An order to go and when we got home again Steak was not well done an they forgot the salad asked for a to go cup for my tea and the young lady dropped the lid picked it up and put it on top of my cup how disgusting is that and then tried to give me the same cup I have been going here for a while we go atheist once a week and are Bill is always 100 and up yesterday my bill was 111 dollars an with that type of service for my food not being to perfection I will think twice about going back and to top it off other customers made the comment about my cup because they saw what the young lady did is just horrible I wish a district Manager would get in contact with me I spoke to a Manger and all that was said was I'm Sorry
Be sure an check your order before you leave
The atmosphere is exceptional. The service is wonderful. The food is as good as it gets. I had the Chicken Laredo and my sister had the baby back ribs. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned just right. The bread is heavenly. You won’t be disappointed at Saltgrass. There’s something for everyone.
3 Stars only because of the nice Black Bartender with the dreads in his head. He exuded excellent customer service and moved with a sense of urgency and my sister and I loved it Now the food on the other hand was NOT SO DELICIOUS. My Ribs came out TOO burnt and LUKE warm on top of that. The broccoli was not steamed all the way and was almost raw and was very hard. The appetizer were the best thingS. We got the Loaded Fries and Fried Pickles. But our meals were not tasty at all. I wanted to go to Outback Steak House but it was her (my sister) bday and the place she wanted was Salt Grass and we both were not happy with our main dishes.
The service was prompt and courteous. The fried mushrooms have a little spice but not too much. The best part was the steak, cooked to a perfect medium rate and delicious seasoning.
Couldn't have asked for a better dinner.
I give 2 stars for the service but you can easily tell that Saltgrass has started cutting corners. The bread used to be so good but now they give you something like a wheat hamburger bun. This restaurant is not as good as it used to be back in the day. All of our entrees were incredibly bland.
