Saltgrass Steak House reviews
15 Service and meal were perfect.
Over price side shrimp. $10 for 4small grilled shrimp. Waiter professional, I believe Chris was his name.
Grad dinner
Horrible horrible place! Worst service and the manager refused to even at least offer is a discount or something. We spent over 2 hours waiting for a food we ordered via telephone. The lady said it would take us 30 minutes to get our food. After 2 hours they gave us food and it was not the correct order and parts of it was missing. The manager acted as though he had no clue what they did to us. They them my mothers day the worst ever! I hate it when you go to an establishment and they give you horrible service and deny they are offering you the worst service. Terrible place and I am one that never posts anything regardless how bad the service is somewhere so that should just explain to you how disappointed I am. If i could give it less I would…
Made a reservation 30 minutes before arrival this evening and still waited 30 minutes (with my elderly parents, because no one at the restaurant wrote down that I had called. I checked once seated there were 6 open tables at that point. Not really sure if piss-poor is supposed to be hyphenated, but that is the service we received. Over 2 hours start to finish. Very disappointed. Used to love this place, I will not go back to this location. I'd recommend not visiting this one!
When I called to explain my disappointment the manager seemed unconcerned, or just didn't care.
Response to owner,
No thanks, I don't want anything else from y'all. I tried to give feedback which was met with a who cares attitude. Texas Roadhouse is right down the street, never had bad service there and their prices are half what u charge.
Its a restaurant.
Nothing spectacular about it.
The ribs are boiled, then covered in bbq sauce, so no smoke flavor.
The tables are too close together for COVID imo, but I'm just here.
I love it, food was amazing, the atmosphere is nice and the staff was really friendly.
Food only took 10 or 15 minutes until served.
Hands down Saltgrass never dissapoints in service and on the food was amazing wish I would of taking a picture of my 22oz steak. ️
Wasn't impressed at all. Our waitress wasn't very good. The prices are outrageous. $3.25 for an ice tea? Who are you kidding
Good food. I was a little confused when the men in our party had their orders taken first and were served first. Call me old school, I guess.
Not happy with my experience here yes they make good steaks but there was other things that made the experience not good. The tables are small and cramped together you wait a long time to get a drink on your table so you can take your mask off. There are other places nearby that offer great service and the stakes are just as good.
Service was excellent, the hostess was not very attentive tho.aside from that everything was great, food, timely service, and my son had a blast, we will be coming back
Great place BUT they don’t know that on their website you can join waitlist of reserve a table. The two hostesses at the front well every time I have come in seem a little lost. Maybe it’s just training the team more.
Ordered curbside for pickup at 6pm. Arrived early and called and by 6: 17 had to call again since noone came by to get payment. When they finally brought out my order they had to return to process payment. Steaks were barely cooked when we got them home. If we ever eat at a saltgrass again we will not do curbside.
We've had good experience at this Saltgrass location, food has come cooked properly, we have had excellent wait staff, and the place is clean.
Worst experience ever at a Landry’s restaurant. Highlight of the evening was the mushroom appetizer. Steak was so over salted that it was not edible. They agreed to replace the steak but blamed the problem on our not realizing it was just the garlic butter. BS. Blame the customer. It took over half an hour to replace. By then we just took the steak home and threw it in the garbage.
Total lack of concern by the server and the “manager”. As bad as they claim they want customers, they act like they could care less.
There are plenty of places that want our business. We will never be back to this restaurant. Suggest you go somewhere else as well.
This was my first time utilizing curbside pickup with this particular Saltgrass Steak House location and I live in Katy, TX but was in the area. Let me begin stating that the gentleman who brought my food to the car was very kind, professional, and personable. Unfortunately the food was cold and had been sitting up. I did leave the curbside staff a much deserved tip, because his service had nothing to do with the below Sub-Par food. The food on the other hand is another story. The Rib-Eye steak was decent and was very tender. However, the salad was brown and withered.with mold. The dressing was sour and tasted I could immediately tell that it was not good. I was so hungry and waiting so long that I was attempting to taste my salad in the car. I was served with a rude awakening by the stench and taste. When I got home, I was able to see the disgusting and rancid concoction thrown together and served to me. I was very disturbed to also learn that my whole wheat roll was hard and cold.
I understand that we're now experiencing harsh times.but something's should never be considered as "acceptable" or "norm". If I make a purchase at your establishment. I expect certain goods and services to be rendered in a timely, sufficient, and professional manner. The items served to me were not sufficient, or even efficient for that matter. I'm extremely dissatisfied and I would encourage customers to visit the I-10 and Mason Rd location instead. Mason Rd SALTGRASS definitely has its act together and the food+service is SUPERB.
