Saltgrass Steak House, Dallas TX

I’ve never been but my friend rants and raves about how good literally everything he’s had! I can’t wait to try the carrot cake after a ribeye!

Our server Carlos made sure my family had a wonderful experience during our first time here. The appetizers and entrees were all delicious. The Chicken Laredo, steaks, sweet potato fries, tenderloin bites and the herb rice were cooked well and served hot. Since we went on a weekday we were seated right away. Not sure it weekends warrant reservations. Carlos checked on us several times to make sure we were enjoying our food and had everything we needed. Thank you Carlos.

Just left. I was having one of the hardest weeks I’ve had in a very long time. Came here to unwind and decompress and fill my belly. At first I couldn’t get one of my old faithfuls the spinach salad because I’d forgotten it had been discontinued, then none of the Cabernet Sauvignon wines I wanted were in stock. The manager Phillip Read came to the rescue and pointed out the other reds that I was completely blinded to in my brain fog from the discombobulated state from hellacious week. I had completely forgotten about Messina Hof that I love so much. It’s a Salt Grass original and DELICIOUS! It made my Sunday and the visit all the more enjoyable. So props the Phil and the Salt Grass family for starting my week off on a high note, it is Sunday after all. Peace and blessings…Pinky.

Service slow and unorganized. Head server was extremely rude. They are unable to manage a large party effectively!

We had a conference across the street and there were three big-tops of 10-20 people! The service was amazing, food was delicious, and the price was nice.

Very good food. Steak was cooked perfectly and tasted great. Kaiya was an excellent server. Never needed anything.

We dined in today for lunch and had a bad experience. I’m 7months pregnant and my pregnancy cravings led me and my husband to Salt Grass for lunch.
First off when I sat down I realized there was a puddle of water next to our booth. I guess there was a leak I have no idea why they would seat us right next to the puddle.
Then we ordered a couple of appetizers before our meal and right after our food was brought out I look to my right and there was a cockroach crawling down on the same booth seat I was on.
I notified who I think I was the manager and they moved our food immediately. They apologized and that was that. I could no longer eat my meal due to me being so grossed out after that. Our booth was right next to the kitchen. The waiter offered to put it in a to go box and never were we offered to get atleast my meal compensated since I was only able to take one bite after that.
It had been a long time since I had been to this location and probably my last.

Planned a party and wasn't given good service waited over an hour and half for no food and attitudes from the front of house staff and manager was not to be found when asked repeatedly to speak to the manager

They always have good food. The atmosphere is nice too. It’s a good visit for a nice dinner or occasion.

Don't order the Checked Fry Steak, the meat is tuff and it has a lots of nerves. I was disappointed to pay $19.00 for that.

Absolutely delighted by my dining experience at SALTGRASS STEAK HOUSE! I ordered the Salmon Oscar, and it was cooked to perfection—flaky, tender, and complemented beautifully by the asparagus and a delicious sauce. The Caesar salad was crisp and flavorful, and the sweet potatoes were the ideal mix of sweet and savory. Customer service was impeccable; attentive without being intrusive. The ambiance was cozy yet elegant, making for a perfect evening out. A five-star experience all around; can't wait to return!

Everything’s better in Texas. I came here to have dinner with my mother and Devonte the manager was very attentive and kind. Very knowledgeable and table side manner is perfect. The wait staff was friendly and the food was great. The drinks were big and tasty. I would recommend to a friend and I will be back. This would be a great choice for any meal of your choosing.

The manager was funny and the staff was great helping each other and very friendly. Food was good as always with every Saltgrass we have visited.

TERRIBLE SERVICE, WE CALLED AHEAD FOR A PARTY OF 30. STAFF WERE RUDE AND UNPREPARED. BILLING WAS A NIGHTMARE. WE WERE DOUBLE CHARGED FOR FOOD AND DRINKS. SIMPLY NEVER AGAIN. MALE SERVER RUDE TO FEMALE MEMBERS OF OUR PARTY. SHE TRIED TO ADDRESS THE FACT THAT HER FOOD WAS COLD AND HE RESPONDED "IM NOT WORRIED ABOUT THAT RIGHT NOW"

When you go, hopefully you'll have Bob as your server. For our group of 8, he was more than efficient and exceeded in his customer service!

Service is awful. Will not pay to be treated badly and mgmt didn't seem to care. Won't be going back to this location ever (Cedar Hill).
