7We were recommended to Saltgrass 5 yrs ago from a local. We now stop in every time we travel through Amarillo.
Hopefully just an off night, but food was overly salty and cool, not hot, service was trying to stay on top of it with plenty of drink refills, bread, etc but kitchen just seemed slow
Had the chicken fried steak at least it looked like it. It was a very small piece and half of it was just breading that was burnt. Only come with a small scoop of mashed potatoes. All sides were extra price. Terrible experience.
Very good food! The restaurant was very clean. Only issue was the scent emitters in the bathrooms.
We’ve been waiting for 2 hours for our food I have found brown peices in my food it was cold and my macaroni was very hard. I do not recommend do not waste ur time and money here at Saly Grass
Dominic was an excellent server, he did an exceptional job! The food was excellent and just as we asked for it to be cooked.
We love Saltgrass and have eaten at several different locations over the years. We were on our way home from Colorado after vacation when we stopped into this location. We were quickly seated and our sever was fantastic! Needing gluten free, she was super helpful, and they quickly brought over a GF menu to us.
We were excited they had potato soup GF, which is very difficult to find. I thought it was amazing but hubby thought it was too salty. Differing opinions obviously - HaHa. We each had a side salad and baked potato and split a ribeye steak. The steak was cooked perfectly medium rare and was very tasty! Perfect seasoning.
We will always recommend Saltgrass and happy to see this location did not disappoint! Great quality, service and atmosphere! Thank you for consistency when we find that is a rarity in this day across different locations.
10/10 recommend!
