We bring both dogs and our cat. Professional, friendly, and excellent service. As much fun as going to the vet can be

I have been going here for 5 years.
Everything is great. This clinic has gone Cashless. I don’t like cashless places and makes it more difficult. Will look for another venue that is not cashless

My dog had very bad skin allergies with bumps and dryness like scaps. I took him to the emergency clinic, they robbed me and didn't help my dog. Called Sam Bass vet, and got him in the next day. Dr Murphy was great! He knew right away. My dog got steroid shot, gave a bottle of antibiotic pills, and medicated shampoo. After 1.5 week, My dog got better. No more bumps! No more dryness! His coat is shinny and silky soft. The price is reasonable and affordable. Thank you!

We had to say goodbye to our pup, but the staff was so friendly and attentive to my wife and our 2 kids who were present and helped our whole family cope.

My 4.5 lb Pomeranian mix Vertie was displaying choking and gaging. We rushed over to the clinic and the lovely ladies at the feont desk greeted us immediately with smilijg faces and professional concern. They stopped Vertie's "reverse hiccups" and he immediately was more comfortable and breathing normally. We were anxious and worried. Please forgive me for forgetting your names, but you 2 ladies ROCK! Pawsitive vibes and hugs for your prompt attention to our precious boy Vertie.

I had lost hope with 3 failed vet visits at other veterinarian facilities. Then i found Sam Bass. The vet actually sat down in the room to talk to us. Nothing was rushed, yet we were in and out in record speed. Sam bass doesn’t make you feel like a number and didn’t ask me to up size to a million products! We are now loyal and can’t say enough good things

Great service. Took 3 of our dogs for fleas and they were super informative about different medications & what steps to take to prevent at home. Highly recommend!

Sam Bass Veterinary Wellness is the go to clinic for all of your furry babies.

Dr. Sherry Hill has taken care of two of our five furry family members. She helped us say goodbye our 17+ year old cat recently. Her chair side manner was both tender and caring. Dr. Hill helped us with seeing our Sebastian off as he crossed over Rainbow Bridge.

Dr. Hill recently treated another furry member of our family - our Siberian Husky. She quickly won GiGi over and took care of a minor leg wound our GiGi had from attempting to dig a hole under a fence to hid one of her toys.

Our part schnauzer, Winston, had an appointment today for an ear ache. Great service by staff and the veterinarian.

The staff of this wonderful clinic are a class act as well. Their clinic is very nice and easy to get to with plenty of parking.

I highly recommend Sam Bass Veterinary Wellness to everyone in the Round Rock area and beyond.

UPDATE: March, 2023 - yearly checkup for Beau. Staff is welcoming. Terrence came in & took the vitals. Terrence was very thorough & caring. Dr. Homburg provided information & details. Dr. Homburg was wonderful.
I Googled frantically on a Monday at 4 AM for a local veterinary. My cat was SICK. Had been the day before. Turns out his temperature was 106.
Each place I called was full - no appointments available for a few days to a week.
Finally I secured a 10AM appointment with Sam Bass Veterinary Wellness and Central Texas Cat Hospital.
Eventually my cat had to stay for a couple of days and nights. Excellent results. By the end of the week my cat was fever free. I was greatly relieved. So I highly recommend Sam Bass Veterinary Wellness and CTCH. Dr. Hill was my cat's veterinarian. Excellent vet - personable, thorough, informative, available for updates.
The clinic was always busy whenever I entered - indicative of an excellent reputation. The staff was very friendly and very competent. I had no worries that my cat would not be cared for or would be neglected in any way.
Affordable? - that is up to each pet owner and the choices each owner must make.

Sam Bass Vet provides sincere, competent, and honest service. From my initial phone call, each and every member of the Sam Bass team has been kind, professional, prompt and knowledgeable. I've been blown away with how lovely they are and would recommend them to any and every person seeking the best possible care and service for their beloved creature.
Brittany, Crystal, Candice, Suzanne and all the sweet souls on staff are invaluable!

I brought in my cat because he had a growth on his face and he died from the anesthesia which I was told would be no problem, the way that they handled it was emotionally draining. I just think that they could handle things just a bit differently. But the actual care was good and the staff was nice.

Refuse to approve remotely or give written prescription for prescription diet food, instead want to force you to order through their website. Clearly prioritizing money > patient care.
