I cannot express how incredibly fortunate we were to stumble upon Sam for our Halloween-themed wedding photography. While I was researching through different photographers in the area. I had compiled a list to compare their shooting styles. From the very beginning, his work on Instagram drew me in, particularly the enchanting images featuring dogs that resonated with us on a personal level. There was this magical moment of a bride in a robe spooning dog food into a bowl while her furry companion barked in anticipation that had me captivated. I felt like I was living that moment just by seeing the image. Not only are the posed photos gorgeous but each photo seemed to tell a story, and I felt transported into the emotions of the captured moments.

As a couple with a non-traditional approach to our wedding, centered around a Halloween theme, finding a photographer who embraced and understood our vision was crucial. Sam's warm and welcoming demeanor during our initial video chat assured us that he was the perfect fit. His shared passion for dogs, an undeniable common ground, made the connection even more special. We even scheduled a separate session before the wedding for more traditional shots at the courthouse, and Sam's suggestion of a nearby park with magnificent pecan trees added an extra layer of magic to our pre-wedding memories. He has a way of making you feel really comfortable while you're being photographed.

On the day of the wedding, Sam was an absolute wizard behind the lens, seemingly omnipresent and capturing every significant moment. Multiple guests marveled at how they kept spotting him everywhere, and the running joke was that we'd have a gazillion pictures to choose from of them. The end result exceeded all expectations – the pictures are nothing short of amazing, and we find ourselves repeatedly reliving the day through Sam's artistry.

We had the great fortune to have Sam capture our wedding day and every time I look at those photos I am transported to that happy day. All of my guests still rave about Sam any chance they get. He was the kindest, coolest person to work with, he was in control the whole day yet endlessly kind to everyone he met, and he instantly felt like he belonged at our wedding (which is a feat for a 35 person event). Our wedding had the worst weather, icy rain, in what was supposed to be an outdoor ceremony, Sam helped us troubleshoot the best possible lighting solutions so our day would still look and feel amazing, and we followed his instructions to the tee and had the most perfect wedding as a result. His work is all over our house, and we just love what he does and how he does it. If it weren’t for the fact that it would mean I wouldn’t have such gorgeous photos of the day, I wish I could go back in time and befriend him so he could’ve been a guest, instead.

Sam is such a stellar photographer. He is a fun and charismatic photographer that makes you feel comfortable getting your photo taken. Sam's style is also perfect if you want that kind of alternative style for your wedding photos. He really captured what I wanted for our wedding photos.

It’s hard to put into words how much we loved working with Sam on our wedding day! He’s personable, professional, and has an ease and comfortability that really helped me relax in front of the camera. He captures the in between moments and the “big” moments with the same care and magic.

We’ve only received our preview so far, but every time I show it to someone new I without fail hear, “wow, these pictures! ” I can’t recommend trusting Sam to document your important life moments enough.
