Sammy's Burgers & Brew, Beeville TX

The burgers were good. But the mushrooms, onion rings, and mozzarella sticks were very bland. They gave us 3 packets of ketchup for the whole order and a pile of napkins. No other sauces. Took 30 minutes to get our order out. Over all first and last time I will be going here.

The Manager/Bartender at the bar was great and he was also training someone new. He had so much patience with the young man but was still able to tend to all of the customers.

This place serves great food and drinks at a reasonable price. The burgers are excellent. They have a nice outside area with shade.

Great food and the service is awesome. I wish they had a different ordering system I feel like I can't hear them out I am shouting, but it works for them. Cashier was kind, and the bartender was nice

This was a nice spot to go to after a long day. They provide atmosphere, music, food, and drinks.was a good experience for our first time. Glad some of the guys suggested this establishment. Cheerio to yall for the hospitality!

I got a chicken quesadilla and I loved it. It tastes so good. I definitely would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Burgers amd fries are awesome. Been here 3 times. Only issue is that it takes a while to get your food, even when they're not busy. It does fill up fast at lunch time.

The food was so good here.
We started with apperizers of fried pickles and egg rolls. They were both amazing. The pickles were to die for. Cant wait to get back and have more!
Just wish they had wait service.

I always like to get the bad out of the way:
1) onion ring breading is too soft. Needs a little crunch.
2) the large burger is not half a pound. More like 1/3lb

Ok, that's out of the way and now to the good:
1) the meat has an awesome charred flavor. That first bite is a treat to the palette. It's really a great burger and you can pick and choose all your toppings. I eat at a lot of burger joints and this one is up there.
2) onion rings aren't too salty. Seems like every restaurant thinks if a little salt is good, more is better. It's not.i can add more if needed.

Just had a burger there - top dollar. Seriously, best burger I’ve had in years. Nice unassuming atmosphere and location. Pleasant staff. Interesting menu. Took the spring salad home for later. Fresh greens, strawberries, mandarin oranges, feta cheese and poppyseed dressing. Looking forward to eating it.

Honestly this is the absolute best grilled chicken sandwich that I’ve ever had. I got it in sour dough and mayo no cheese. The fries were great and the drink was fine. It took a while for me to get my food, but that grilled chicken sandwich was, bomb!

Stopped in for lunch on the way to S. Padre and found this gem of a burger joint. Wife and I both got their standard size burger, shared and order of curly fries, and she got a Coke whereas I just had water. Under $20 for a greater burger lunch is a bargain these days. That'd be $30 in any of the big cities.

It's great they offer different cheese ootiobs and even two bun options (regular and sourdough which isn't like a traditional sourdough bread). Word of advice, the sourdough bun is big. It does throw off tge meat to bun ratio of the smaller regular burger. I am sure that tge larger burger works well. I'm not docking tgem for this as I just had some extra bun left that I didn't eat.no biggie.

Everything was delicious and seasoned well. Looks like they have a great selection of livations should you decide to partake. There is a nice looking beer garden outaide, though the 100 degree temps ensured it wouldn't be in use that particular day.

Definitely give it a go!

Very good burgers and chicken sandwich. The only thing I would say is they should post prices on their menu. You don't know what you are paying until you are done

We have been to Sammy’s several times in the years past. We like their food and a variety of their menu. They have good wings, some of their starters are good a lot of their sandwiches are great tasting, including their egg sandwich! Their nachos are my favorite, with the taco meat. My recommendation is ask what you can have as toppings and which ones cost extra because their menu is not as detailed. For starters, we like the mushrooms and okra, the okra doesn’t have the usual cornmeal batter. The onion rings are great and worth trying! I tried their Caesar salad which had plenty of croutons and shredded Parmesan cheese. I ordered grilled chicken, which is extra but worth the extra $2.49 because they give you plenty, an equivalent of one chicken breast. The Caesar dressing had an extra amount of lemon, had a good tangy to it. Great dinner. They have seating inside and outside. Great place to relax and enjoy a great dinner.

We are regulars. We love Sammy's. They make the best hamburgers in our area. Try to eat there a couple of times a month. It's family friendly and the back yard is really nice.

Stayed at a Airbnb cabin in beevile and this place was on the must eat list from the AIRBNB can definitely see why. One of the best burgers i have had before.

Would have given it 5 stars, but it took forever. The food was delicious, we had burgers and wings.

I believe the entire town of Beeville, TX is there on Fridays

It was okay. Service was okay. Food was okay. Nothing stood out for me. Went on a Wednesday evening and it was slow enough for them to close early.

I would rated a zero if I Could. Came out of town and my family and I were so hungry and our hotel was literally 3 mins out so we decided to eat here. When we arrived at 9pm they denied us service because they were “CLOSED” when they supposed to be closing at 9: 30pm
So disappointing! Would not recommend.
Extremely unprofessional. As someone that has worked in the industry you have to attend your customers until your closing time even if that means you have to start cleaning then. If not then change your schedule to 9PM

Overall, the the burger was good but a little bland. I had a regular burger, I tried it on Sourdough bread and the bread was very good. I tried the regular fries and they were yummy. I didn't care for the kosher pickle slices on the burger, they should just use regular Best Maid dill pickle slices. I did enjoy the atmosphere but I did have to wait over 30 minutes for my meal. I would go back though and try the chicken wings and have a beer.
