Have been by this place 2 different Sundays and they have been closed, despite their sign stating open 10-5.

I was actually moving and unloading my storage unit when I came across these pieces that were my grandmothers and great grandmothers. They really needed allot of work and I have been holding on to them for years in hopes I could find someone or the right place to refinish and reupholster them. I got online and did some research and as it turns out this place is amazing. They have great pieces in there store and they also do great work fixing and repairing old sentimental pieces. Here’s a few before and after pics of what I had done. Happy shopping!

Edit: I have spoken with Sam further, and believe most of these issues were out of his control, so am tweaking my review somewhat.
Sam seems like a nice guy, but the way he runs his business leaves something to be desired, specifically when it comes to shipping, inventory management, and refunds.
I bought an antique table from Sam's Antiques via ebay back in June 2022. I spent all summer trying to work with Sam to get the piece shipped, but he continuously told me he had new people, gas prices were too high, no one was willing to ship it, etc. I offered to throw in a bit more money to get the table on a truck, but he wasn't willing to take that offer/route.
In October, 2022, when he was eventually able to find a shipping company.he couldn't find the table. Sam has several warehouses full of furniture, apparently with little inventory management. For over a month, he was unable to locate the table.
Finally, come November, 2022, we decided to find a different table and asked for a refund.ebay was long out of the picture by this time, and wasn't willing to help with the refund process, so I was reliant on Sam to send me a refund. Despite his assurances that he would send a refund check before Thanksgiving, he didn't send it until early December. When it arrived, it was short by the amount of the sales tax. I guess the state of Texas gets to keep that for my trouble.
I admit, there are a lot of potentially extenuating circumstances here, but the whole process left a bad taste in my mouth. I've seen lots of positive reviews, but his system leaves very little room for error.
