Samsonite, Round Rock TX

I dropped 2 piece luggage 5 weeks ago to replace wheels. After 6 weeks receive a message from a 3rd party out of warranty without further info, cannot repair or an estimate. Very disappointing experience that the store respectively Samsonite doesn’t handle the issue better with their supply chain.

Good choice for buying Samsonite bags and accessories, with very good service by the staff.

The only salesperson in the store was great. He asked what I was looking for and what my budget was. He didn't push me to buy something I didn't want. He made recommendations and pointed out the many choices to choose from. He was very willing to explain different features on different bags. He acts like he really cared about working there unlike many in other stores. Great place to go to get your luggage.

Went into Samsonite on Feb 28, at approximately 4PM CST. They had a 25% off deal. An older white guy with white hair was helping me when I asked if he had other colors of a particular luggage. He asked the younger associate there, and they point out a purple colored luggage but with a more square shape. I say it's not really the shape I'm looking for and I ask if they have colors of the original luggage I was looking at online. The older sales associate turns to the younger guy and says out loud "She's complaining about the colors again! Do you we have any others online? What do you want me to do ma'am? Spray paint it orange for you? "

This was absolutely disgusting customer service and very unprofessional. What kind of people do you guys hire here? He must have been new due to him constantly asking the other guy questions and he clearly didn't have enough experience with being tactful around customers.
Thankfully the younger associate pulled me away and showed me more luggage options online. He also recommended more places for me. Other than this gentleman who was helpful, my experience was terrible and I'm not stepping foot in here again.

Perhaps it's just this one location, but I was really disappointed with Samsonite and the products we saw. I know you don't go to this place for leather briefcases but those were just garbage. Stitching was cheap, the leather thin and the metal coating on the buckles were literally flaking off. If that's already happening before I'm out the door, how long would they last while in use? The plastic luggage they had was decent but for the price I could do so much better. With the brand that has this much history behind it, I feel like they just got lazy.
