Sandra's Mexican Food reviews
15At Sandra's they have excellent food, terrific and fast service. Pricing is very affordable. Highly recommend it. One of the best Mexican food I've had in San Antonio.
Terrible service. Third I have bad service but this last visit was the worst. No one came to our table to take the order after 20 min of waiting but everyone else did.
Been coming here for years, past year their food has gone downhill. I always say maybe this time it will be good. Never again. Eggshells in taco, tacos cold, tasteless tortillas.
We were wanting a good beef fajita taco salad for dinner. Instead we received two terrible taco salads. Sandra’s taco shell bowls were soggy and not crispy. There was very little beef but a lot of lettuce. No refried beans, the sour cream is extra $$ and it was very unsatisfactory for $12 / per salad. YUCK! I have given this place many chances, but it has changed and it sucks! Their tortillas are like thick and tasteless. No more for me.
I came here with my husband and son for breakfast. The only hot thing was the coffee. My eggs and bacon were cold so were the pancakes. If you come visit San Antonio do not stop by this place for a hot meal. The Restaurant is very nice but the food is not good at all.
Food has gone downhill since it first opened. My bill was $80 for 4 people and the food had no flavor. Will not be going back. Too expensive for low quality food.
Sorry experience ever, food was cold. I mentioned to the waitress, she didn't care. I mentioned to the cashier, she didn't care as well. Never going there again.
The restaurant is a gorgeous dine in experience. Staff is friendly. The fajitas plate was good. I ordered shrimp, looked amazing but to my surprise things were expired and rancid. My goodness. In all honesty the rest of the food there was delicious.
If you are looking for Mexican food this is NOT the place. This is more of a TexMex-ish kind of place. Even for Texmex, it is awful food. Food is bland. Tortillas are definitely the worst I have had in a long time. The eggs tasted like there was a mix of real eggs and boxed eggs. I had high hopes for this place but my husband and I were both disappointed. Save your money and go elsewhere. (*The service is great!)
Good food. Great menu selections.
Bar service available. Large seating area. Only downside. Beef fajitas were a bit tough. I will go back though
The staff is friendly and food is good. I would rate higher but my Mexican food standards are a little more particular since everything there can easily and are often made at home. This is still a good place with a decent size plate for the price.
The lengua plate was horrible. Meat to soggy. Over boiled and not well seasoned. Red sauce was just like juice from a crushed tomato. Over priced. I wouldn't recommend it.
Great breakfast tacos, have eaten them many times, breakfast served all day. Dined inside for dinner once with a party of 3, all entrées were horrible, service horrible. I was embarrassed.
Will revisit the drive-thru for breakfast tacos any time.
First time eating there. Super friendly staff, very clean and the food was very tasty especially the homemade flour tortillas.
Up the road a little from us but we came on a recommendation! Gotta tell you.it was worth it! Great food, great service and a clean restroom.count us in! TV's around the restaurant for news, games and even menu options! We'll definitely return to try even more food! Thanks to the staff for a great experience!
