Great home options. Great neighborhood. Great activities and amenities.

This community is very, very beautiful. Lots of children, a lot of interaction and a very close knit community.
The only problem that I saw was the houses are right on top of each other; too close for comfort. The planners should have space the homes just a little further apart from each other. The layout inside is very nice, open plan, well lighted. But the neighbors can see right in your windows, on the sides. They're soo close like in NYC.it's ok if you have blinds or drapery. The drainage looks very well planned. Important factor when looking at a home. Many parts ofTexas flood. This looks good. They're still building a lot more stores around the area and schools so it's okay for someone who has a young family. Not really a retirement area. But to each his own

Been living in the SR Ranch South West development for a couple months or so… I’ll start with the pros: The neighborhood is well kept, the neighbors are friendly, and it’s very safe and quiet. I don’t think I’ve ever slept so well in any place I’ve ever lived. Now for the drawbacks: Let’s start with the layout and the amenities…. Things like the wellness center and water park are located in the opposite development down the road (Ronald Reagan) and across the highway, with no direct road, bike or foot path connecting the two. Our side has food trucks and a nice large park, and a conference center for some reason. So depending on what side you are living, it is very very likely you will be paying for another neighborhood’s amenities that you will likely never use, lest you feel like driving a couple miles out of your way. The only thing that connects the two sides is the management company. The two developments really should be separated, I think it would save us all a lot of money. Another problem this area has is painfully bad/unstable communications infrastructure. There is only one real ISP in the area and the highest rated internet is extremely temperamental. Cell and internet are always cutting in and out and are flat out just unavailable at various points of the day, making serious work from home an impossibly… not to mention not being able to utilize any online entertainment platforms we’ve come depend on in this age of COVID. Another thing to keep in mind before moving here, this area is a MUD with very high property taxes… (enough to double a house payment) so do your research! I think in 10 years this will be the place to be, but right now until more development comes, its a not a great value.

The neighbor hood is awesome. The only drawback is an over zealous HOA that wants to control the entire neighborhood like drill sergeants. Not to mention there is no actual residents allowed on the HOA. And you are not allowed to question then HOA members at the meetings about anything they don't agree with.

This is a very beautiful complex. Great clubhouse. They have a walking path, pool, etc.

I love our community and development (North and South). There are so many nice amenities that are included in the HOA fee. The pools are meticulously cleaned, the playgrounds are varied and fun, there are trails and a fishing pond - it's just beautiful. And I love the elementary school in the South - the teachers are really great, the school is beautifully designed and clean.
Our home is a Pulte home, and has been well built, with a decent backyard and a very nice layout.

I love living here. All of my neighbors love living here too. Our elementary school is almost built and will be two blocks away. It is close to the park and the pool. Everything we need is close and clean. I love living here!
