Santa's Ranch Drive Thru Christmas Light Park reviews
16Loved it! My family enjoyed all the different lights. We look forward to coming back next year
Save your money this was a huge "non-refundable" rip-off. After trying to go several times we were not able to get in. What they don't tell you is that you will be waiting in line for 3-4 hours with no place to use a restroom or purchase food (no gas stations). Horrible experience - never again!
I am taking my daughter every year for almost as long as it's been open and it just gets better every year. I highly recommend
We loved it! Had all ages in the car and we all thought it was exceptional! Definitely something very unique that we've never seen before. So many stories being told by the Christmas lights: -D
Me and my family really enjoyed it! They have very good prices and we had a very good experience.
We loved driving through Santa’s Ranch! It is so thoughtfully laid out and worth the money!
Christmas in Texas, Y'all! Open thru Jan. 2nd! Such a spectacular light show and fun for all!
We love our annual Santa's Ranch times!
From the patriotic tribute, to Texas and America are great displays, to the incredible Biblical scenes, to the winter wonderland. ETC. -it is all WELL DONE!
Our family likes to find the new displays of the year-the ambulance is awesome! THANK YOU SANTA'S RANCH!
Great light display. Great variety: religious and non religious themes! Would definitely come again. My only recommendation is to add Christmas music to the entire presentation. It would greatly add to the ambience. Or if you know the local Christmas radio station. Recommend it to your patrons so they can listen to Christmas music as a drive-through. Just a suggestion-not a deal breaker by any means.
It's a Christmas tradition. We always have q good time enjoying the lights and hit cocoa!
If young earth creationism, US military propaganda, and colonizer history are festive and Christmasy to you, go for it. Most of this display will go over kids' heads. Definitely geared towards white evangelical conservatives. Two stars only bc the cookies and hot cocoa were tasty.
It shows the jesus story and some other important bible stories with delicious hot chocolate at the end or begining
Love the theme they had. Not sure if they change it up every year, but it is a beautiful scenic adventure to have with the little ones. They will surely be excited! I mean who doesn't love seeing lights anyways. Bit pricey ($35 per car and concessions are a bit high) but understandable as they probably have a high electric bill to fork over. Other than that it was very enjoyable.
Lots and lots of lights definitely worth going through at least once although it was a bit more biblical themed than Christmas themed in my opinion. Still worth a visit.
One of the most recommended place to view Holiday lights during December.
As other reviews have covered the awesome pictures of the lighting, I shall the features of the place and how to reach
Features:
*Santa's Ranch is located close to I-35.
Exit 199 while coming from Austin
Exit 200 while coming from San Antonio.
Its located midway between San Antonio and Austin and takes sake time to reach from both the cities.
*In Dec 2021, the entrance fee was $35 per car. Would recommend buying online before arriving.
*Lights are worth for $35 and are spectacular. Takes in 35-40mins for entire trip. Kids would enjoy a lot.
Team has worked a lot to setup these lighting. Entire trip was drive thru only and you cannot get down for posing for photos.
*Snacks are sold at entrance and has to be purchased separately. Can try hot chocolate but in my opinion, Popcorn wasn't good and was too much for 4 people.
Wish there could have been a photo-op place in the drive thru for kids/family as it would added value to this memorable visit.
Have a happy and safe lighting festival.
