Sapporo Ramen & Grill reviews
14Food is awesome as always but service is just ok. The dish is plenty. Recommend sapporo ramen.
This is what you called a hidden gem! The foods were amazing with delicious flavors and tenderized meats! I have had a lot of ramen in my days, but this place absolutely on my top 3 favorite ramen restaurants!
My friend and I ordered the Sapporo Butter and the Spicy Beef which I totally recommend to those who are considering to come and eat.
Cashier recommended #1, so I decided to order it. Slight bitterness and burnt taste in the broth. Meat was ok, egg was not runny. Bean sprouts did not jive with the other vegetables and noodles in the bowl.
Visiting friends here for some ramen.not a fan favorite which is only my opinion. The food was bland I ordered chicken ramen which had some type of rubbery paper in it which was a mess since I didn't even know until reheat to see if it tasted better the next day Needless to say I was for sure done with it after that - flavors were no better and I did not get any sickness from having something other than food mixed in my bowl. The fried rice was ok. We did order a round of orders of egg rolls they were ok. My 11 year old ordered the spicy beef ramen as did my husband it was too spicy for her but perfect for him. Not the best ramen bar that we've been to it was a Friday and slow business so could have been a factor. Wouldn't advise to use the restroom here. When visiting Plano again we will opt out of a return to this ramen bar.
Walked in at 7pm. The waiter told us we had to wait for 30 mins in a really rude way. While I came up a question about what the veg was, the waiter directly questioned me why a Taiwanese didn’t know the veg but I am not a from Taiwan. This was too rude!
Regarding the price, the size of the portion is quite generous.
Ordered popcorn chicken and three cup chicken, and they were yummy.
What bad service? Now the restaurant changed owner and everything goes downhill. Today the "Waiter or Owner" messed up our day. The first time we placed an order by phone and then we came out there just found out they didn't even put our order. I have never written a bad review. This restaurant really doesn't deserve one.
Mistakes for the waiter made:
-
1. He didn't even put our order, even though we placed an order on the phone, but they till we came there and then placed our order. He didn't even ask for our phone number and didn't tell us how long we have to wait.
2. He is not familiar with the menu. My husband asked him if there have a recommendation for the cuisine. He just let my husband go to maps to review the menu and then get back to him.
3. Charged us twice by mistake, then return back. Pls seriously take care of your job.
4. Indifferent attitude
I asked him how long we are wait for that. He icily and rudely said: five minutes. Then said nothing. I get back to him "thank you". I feel very embarrassed at that time. I never saw such a high "EQ" guy. Why not smile to treat your customers? We are the first time to come here! You ruined our expectations.
5. Knocked the food over and no apologize
I know you are not on purpose. But when you passed the receipt to my husband. My husband wanna take it, but why you returned it back on purpose and put it on the bar counter? It causes the food almost dropped off.
I would think when you make one mistake you will be even more careful to make sure you take good care of this particular customer. However, one after another, what is the principle of service?
If I can put zero stars, I would put that. The service is terrible. I won't recommend this restaurant and I won't go back again for sure.
Call ahead before driving to the restaurant. The business hours can be flaky as I have driven there on several occasions and it was closed due to different reasons each time.
That being said. Still 5 star. The food! Amazing. Highly recommended! But call ahead to check if they are open!
We like to order their stir fly item & chicken soup, they always give you large amounts of food with good price, their food always taste delicious.
This place is absolutely amazing! Our waiter was super nice and the atmosphere is incredible. Good and fair prices for delicious and plentiful food - they are not stingy on the amount of meat added to the ramen dishes. Please visit this place if you enjoy ramen and other authentic asian dishes. It is a delight! ありがとうございます!
The food is a little high priced. But worth it. I was very surprised on the taste. Japanese Ramen at its very best in Plano. They also serve other Asian foods. So worth the visit
Super good authentic Chinese food! The chicken pot is amazing. The hot pot is very flavorful. Btw the miso ramen is very tasty! I highly recommend this place!
The place was very calming and quiet nice scenery, music and decorations! The food was done quickly and came to my table hot!
The food was very flavorful and not too salty either!
Don't order anything. It will be canceled, you would think after months of construction they would put they can't do delivery
