Waiting five to ten minutes to be served, told it would take four to eight weeks to tailor my clothing. Mandatory mask wearing despite being vaccinated and masks aren't rated for virus protection.

I have been working with Sara several years even after I moved back to Maryland. Sara is not only professional but her work is precise and HIGH QUALITY. She has altered designer evening gown with very complex beading, suits and countless other outfits for me not only in super short notice but with love and skill. YOU CAN ALWAYS COUNT ON SARA TO DELIVER! I recently needed a designer suit altered as I competed for Miss Maryland USA and she was able to get in done in two days. I ended up winning Miss Maryland USA and will not only be traveling back to get things altered but I am SO excited to have her work on of my clothes for Miss USA in November! I can't say this enough but I HIGHLY recommend Sara's Alterations for any occasion. Her work is amazing plus you will always be greeted with a smile!

My dress came came in two sizes too big 3 weeks before my wedding and Sara altered it back down to my size and used the extra material to make my husband’s bow tie. Most of her guests have 3 or more fittings but she was able to alter mine with 2 visits within 2 weeks. Sara is beyond talented and has what I would call blessed hands! Sara took meticulous care with the alterations on my daughters wedding dress. She was fast and efficient and her work turned out so beautiful. We were in great hands!

I had a wedding dress that I had to make in larger size. She came up with the idea of making the V shaped back, which turned out to be so beautiful. She was willing to work with very tight schedule with multiple visits. Reasonable price. The only thing is that driving inside the building is difficult, because you need to make a left turn unprotected (No left turn at roadside). Her office is located in inner side of the building. So drive all the way inside.

Sara was amazing! She had short notice to make alterations on my dress and she did it perfectly. She is so calm and kind. I would recommend her a million times over.

Sara had to restructure and rebuild my wedding dress COMPLETELY. I purchased a custom dress from a designer abroad thinking it would come close to perfect to my measurement, with minimum alterations. Sara explained to me that because my dress was build on a mannequin, even with my measurements, it was almost impossible to size correctly. As you can imagine, I wasn't thrilled with this news but Sara came to the rescue. She was able to not only rebuild and restructure my dress but she also met each deadline and relieved tremendous stress before my big day. I would recommend Sara's work to anyone whether you need wedding dress alterations or personal clothing alterations. Sara's services are reasonably priced and I could not recommend her talent, professionalism and kindness more.

I came to Sara Alterations after my wedding because I wanted to have my wedding dress remade into a new dress that I could wear for special occasions. I called a lot of alterations companies, and Sara was the only one that was willing to dye my dress. I worked with her for several months on this redesign, and she paid so much attention to detail-hand removing pieces of lace that I loved from the bottom of my dress and then re-placing them onto the new dress. She met with me many times to make sure the dress was just right, and then she dyed it to its new navy color. I could not have been happier with the job she did, and am so excited to be able to wear my wedding dress again in its new form. I can't recommend her company enough!

I had my wedding dress being altered in early 2020 for a May wedding. With COVID changing our plans, we had to reschedule for a 2021 date. I had already paid my alteration costs, and Sara let me pick my gown up to be brought back in 2021 for final alterations. The dress fit perfectly and Sara was an absolute pleasure to work with!

Sara was a life saver! She was able to hem and alter my daughters prom dress even though she was very busy. She is so kind and my daughters dress was not an easy hemming job. I hadn’t used Sara before, but I had my grandfather’s WW2 Bomber Jacket that needed the collar fixed. The fur had disintegrated. Since it was a precious heirloom, I wanted somewhere I could trust. I took a chance on Sara and she’s amazing! Clean shop, you can see all the beautiful wedding dresses being well taken care of. She’s kind and extremely professional. I would 100% use her again and recommend her!

Sara is very professional and gave me exactly what I wanted. I use my moms dress but wanted it a little different without taking away the classic and simplicity of the dress. My day was perfect and so was my dress.
