SAT1 Amazon Fulfillment Center reviews
16Always hiring. Fast pace and some Drama working here. Over all a ok job. No public pick up of orders. No raises for employees. The rate you start out at is the pay you'll be at 5 years from now.
Wait time to long. Something wrong with check in computer system. Delivering freight. Wait was so long some drivers were getting hostile.
" Ask Jessica Delgado or Hector, his son, or manager Christian might know, how are my children, Gabriel and Danny", thank you for being so cooperative while looking and wondering about their well being " 5 stars for doing a great job at helping her hide and run away with my children.
Recievong clerk lied about arrival time, thank you electronic logs for correcting his error, I've been here 3 hours and they are just now starting to unload, 2 1/2 hours past appointment time
Always hiring. Fast pace and some drama working here. Over all not a bad job. No public pick up of orders
I work there, NB1 at SAT1. I like the job, pays good. And great people but organization could be better. You'll get your packages on time but at the cost of us giving up time or hours. We love our customers and want you to be first in the chain. Pays good, good planned hours, management could be better during peak.
I worked here briefly last year and it was awful. They don't tell you about the ridiculous rules and their massive turn over rate. First, our training was pointless. They throw you into a general training with no specifications to what you'll actually be doing. Secondly I have a disability and was advised they could accommodate and they completely ignored my request. Third don't even hope to get the schedule you want. And last but not least they literally pick from a bucket to what you will be assigned to. Again, they completely ignored my disability requests so after working on the docks for 2 days I fainted and had to be taken by EMS to the hospital. Then after I was on doctor's orders not to return for at least a week I called HR and was told that I needed to call the automated attendance line. When I told the HR lady that I didn't even know my managers name she told me just to call and they would call me back later. So I called in all the days I was scheduled only for the last day to get an email that they never heard from me so I was terminated. It's a frickin joke the way they run that place. Not to mention you can't even have your phones ON BREAK OR LUNCH. They have metal detectors that prohibited you from being able to even use your own phone on your own time. Not to mention if you work in the back the place is so huge it takes 5 minutes just to WALK to the nearest breakroom and you only get 15 minutes. I wouldn't recommend anyone working here unless you're a young teen and need a job.
As a driver this had without a doubt been the worst communication I've had from a customer. Period. Expecting me to have numbers without giving them to my company. Disgraceful. Disorganized. Exactly why I walked off the job from these assclowns a year ago and became a driver.
Very bad place to deliver. For truck drivers. They will not accept your load. Unless with a specific magical number they go by. I had 4 reference and deliver numbers
, none help. Worse than walmart. Never ever again will accept. A load to bring them again.
Lost my delivery lost next day pick up, lost home time
Worked here for a month. Learned the majority of their workers are injured at work. But when they report to Concenta for medical report. Mostly all were denied workers compensation. Their doctors stated the injuries were not work related. It is simply not worth your health working for Amazon.
My daughter in law works there. They had a family day recently that was awesome. The grand kids had a great time and I was awed by the size of the place. My daughter in law is pregnant. They have a great maternity leave policy and have been good about working with her restrictions
This place is amazing. I love working here. Friendly people someone willing to help u at all times. Just the greatest company to work for!
Amazon is trash and don't give a damn about you or any thing that may be hindering you. If your numbers are low they don't even look into the reason why you can't make rate.
When Amazon have their stuff together you can get in and out fast. But.half of the time they are a bit disorganized.changing a live unload into a drop at the last minute, or wanting the trailer 6 hours earlier and don't tell anyone until AFTER the fact. Or having a drop trailer taking like 18 hours before they are finished unloading it. If you decide to take an amazon load don't prebook any loads in advance because of these factors and it'll be a whole lot less stressful.
Ive worked for this site for almost 2yrs and I know from my own experience that we dedicate truly a 110℅ to serve or coustomers as we say at sat1 (go big or go home).
