Savage Tavern, Lubbock TX

This place is REALLY GOOD to eat at, I am giving it a 2 star for the fact that we got there at noon to eat lunch on a Saturday and we couldn't get a lunch menu till 2 o'clock they were only serving brunch. And we really wanted their cheese sticks.

Decided to try out this place today because of all the good reviews. I had the churro chicken and waffle and it was flavorless. The batter nor the chicken was seasoned.it was overly coated and not cooked all the way through…so I got a layer of crust and a layer of wet coating, followed by a layer of unseasoned chicken…and the waffle…well it was just a regular waffle that was soggy because the hot chicken was placed on top of it. Tried to come here for lunch but they don’t start serving lunch until 2. The food is really good but don’t go for lunch. Just got a drink and left disappointed.

Been there a couple of times to watch games with friends are server was Brooke she took care of us drinks and food was excellent definitely be back

The bartenders are prompt and friendly! Everything I've had on the menu has been very good. My only wish is the fries, while always hot, would be more crispy.

Great experience here. Had good service and the bartenders were very friendly. Actually had great food and I recommend the Irish nachos as well.

Sam the bartender is amazing! She is the only reason I go. She will always make you feel welcome and that’s why I love this place!

Been here a few times and the food is ok. Bartender definitely isn’t as good, as she thinks she is and clearly didn’t want to work with our waitress.

It's a really good place for everything. You can have a great meal or spend time with friends at night. They have live music on Fridays.

Love the outdoor patio because I can drink and smoke and watch football on a big screen TV. 2.50 beers till 8: 00. Will definitely come back to watch the tech game here or an NFL game. Staff was very courteous food was good.

The manager was rude and not accommodating to simple requests! Not pet friendly! If I could leave zero stars I would. They put their employee in a position they obviously didn’t want to be in as well.

Savage really does have the best brunch food I’ve had in town. (And delicious dinner & drinks!) There are executive chefs in the kitchen & total power houses out on the floor Plus daily drink specials and lots of live music. The regulars & staff have created such an amazing community.

Terrible food, Terrible service, mouthy manager, and they charged a gratuity! If I had the owners number we'd be having a conversation! If zero stars was an option that's how I'd rate my experience.

The only bar in town that’s actually clean and where I feel safe ordering food from the kitchen. Great service and most importantly amazing staff that make me feel welcome every time I’m in.

Sara is a rockstar behind that bar and I couldn’t ask for a better place to grub and get my drink on!

Have been here for brunch in the past, and it was good, but decided to come in for dinner today. Had the corn bites, which were very good, a popper burger which was awesome, curly fries with fantastic queso, and my kid had the chicken sandwich wich she enjoyed. Our tiny waitress did a great job. Great bar food place. If you haven't been you should try it.
