Savage's Hill Country Bar, Wimberley TX

Cool spot on RR12 at the San Marcos/Wimberley/Blanco 12/32 split. Two pool tables, wrap around bar with lots of tables inside and out for big groups. Lots of seating. Food has been great so far. Awesome crispy fries!

I was in Wimberly for a girls trip and wanted to get out for an adult beverage, I had a great time watching karaoke and talking to local people. I will definitely go back for dinner and live music on my next trip.

Friendly, happy atmosphere! Love this place and love the people that make this a place to want to sit back, enjoy music, and great food!

Went in to get menus.all they have is QR codes on each table, but no wifi, so my phone didn't work. Our waitress was very nice, food was ok, I think they are missing out on what they have there. There was music, they sounded great, but no place to really dance. Sounds like they are new, just opening. I think they have a hidden gem, that could be alot of fun when they get up to speed.

Y’all have to try these burgers. They’re freaking amazing. I have never been so in love. And the sweet and savvy drink is so good. Also, Savannah is the best️

Great outdoor decks with a nice view of Texas Hill Country although traffic can be a little intrusive. Great decor and good food, good selection of drinks.

I honestly thought the setup for the place was awesome and was expecting to enjoy our evening there, but was unpleasantly surprised. They didn't have any food to choose from. The bartender seemed annoyed that we were an inconvenience.

We wanted to like this place but honestly it was a huge disappointment. I will say.they did live up to their name though.the workers and fellow patrons were pretty savage. **not a kid friendly establishment even at 4pm** my bad apparently

They changed food providers and didn't have food items that were pictured. They couldn't answer questions about the new menu items like can they make the burger into a lettuce wrap.

At this time they have a limited menu but was what we were looking for, so worked out well. The folks there were super friendly and the burger & fries were very good.

Kinda confusing upon entry, but food to the left, counter order, bar to the right! Super friendly and wickedly smart (Jeopardy was on) bartender!

This place is pretty good. We go there every year after the trail of lights. The chef does some "out of the box" type things (ketchup is strange) but overall I really like this establishment.

Disgusting owners who promote drag events and encourages children to participate. Leave kids alone.

Visited during prime time on a Saturday night to hear Angelo and the Blue Dogs play. Great time.awesome, upbeat participatory music, and bartender Haley was incredibly personable and welcoming. Made me feel right at home though I was drinking just tonic water! Nice place all around.

It's basically a bar not really a restaurant. Food was OK but nothing special. The amount of food for the price wasn't great. Atmosphere is pretty. And our cashier was also our waiter a nice guy. But definitely would not go back.

Had an Excellent experience here. Service and atmosphere both were great. Prices were very fair.

The night that we came here, I ordered a French martini and the bartender (I heard people calling her "Savvy") didn't know what it was. I told her what was in it and she starting mixing it up right away, without a recipe. It was one of the very best I've ever had! I was so impressed. I've been to places that had them on the menu and they weren't even that good. It was perfectly made. We really appreciated the customer service here! Also, thank y'all for having the Astros on?
