Schertz Auto Service FM 3009

Used to be a reputable company had to bring my car back 3 times because apparently they did a COMPLETE diagnostic.
Just had to pay for a water hose that apparently they missed.

Don't know what happened to this company.

Got an estimate at Gillman Honda for my failing ac in a 2016 Honda fit. $2800 to replace my condesor and evaporator. Went to Schertz for a 2nd opinion. Didn't find evidence of what Gillman suggested. Found a faulty expansion valve instead. $900.1 uber shift in, the ac is ice cold. I think I found a my new repair shop. I can't praise Leslie M and Josh P any higher. Thank you!

Took my car in for replacement of struts. They did a full diagnostic and ranked issues from immediate to future with pricing on each item. My car was fixed for the immediate issues. The prices were fair and less than dealer pricing. No upsell, no hard sell. I will be going back for all my car needs.

I have been coming here for a few years now and wouldn't recommend any other place in our area from my experience. Everyone there is always friendly, helpful, and the prices are fair.
I always look forward to taking my car in for routine maintenance, and I know if I ever need them for anything else they will shoot me straight.

I had a great experiences. Took my car in because a break place said I needed some additional work done. But they discovered that I didnt. Saved me $600. So i was very happy. Ive used them several times and i will continue too:)

All super nice people working here! Nick helped me this last time with my 2006 civic. He was communicative, friendly, and was able to help me prioritize what needs to get done now vs what can wait a bit. I appreciate y’all being a place I can trust with my car and to give a fair price!

Everywhere I looked the lines to get a car inspection were long. Getting an inspection at Schertz Automotive was quick and easy. All I had to do was set an appointment for the following day. I walked in & waited no more than 15 minutes in a comfortable, air conditioned waiting room. The staff are friendly. I definitely recommend this place.

Schertz Auto Service is very professional, courteous, and competent. They also do a great job of keeping you informed. However, make sure you NEED the added fluid services, flushes, etc.they offer before you okay them. Check your owner's manual and service records to be sure.

Absolutely wonderful service and educated people. The only thing reason I can’t give them 5 stars is because they wouldn’t allow me to provide my own parts. I understand the warranty issues, but I was willing to waive the warranty to get my vehicle fixed, however that didn’t happened. I was forced to get my business to another shop.

Had clips put on the skid plate as they were missing, an oil change and a wellness check done. The job was completed in a very timely manner. Great price and great workmanship from the mechanics. The receptionists are always friendly and know what they're doing. Definitely recommend!

I brought my vehicle in for an inspection so I could reregister the vehicle and was met with friendly service. They also added air to my tires. I will be back for an oil change. I like this place very much.

I took my car here to get my A/C repaired. All the staff at Schertz Auto Service are awesome. They accommodated me while my car was in the shop getting fixed. Thank you for the great service and friendly staff. Thank you Beth for providing me with a ride to and from my Senior Center.

The front desk staff were knowledgeable and helpful about the process. They kept in communication with me and even provided me with a loaner vehicle. The mechanics worked quickly and efficiently to diagnose and repair identified issues. They provided a list of immediate needs and issues I’d need to address down the line. Overall great experience.

I requested a vehicle state inspection and was given a same day appointment which worked well for me. The waiting area was clean and comfortable. The lady who greeted me and took care of my request was pleasant and professional. The inspection didn't take too much of my time which is always good. Overall it was a good experience - Thanks!

Everything about my experience with this auto shop was amazing. Beth was amazing. She went above and beyond to check if my vehicle was covered under warranty just to save me money which we thought was so considerate and thoughtful. The prices seemed fair and look forward to doing business once I take my car back to the recommended repairs!

Always good service. I do a lot of my own mechanical work, but when I don’t have the time they take care of our vehicles.

Leslie is awesome! She coordinated everything and kept me up to date on the progress. Ignition coil for one of the cylinders went out. They changed it with another cylinder just to verify that was a problem which it was. And recommended replacing the other coils since they would likely to be going out sometime in the future.
