Schertz Cibolo Emergency Clinic reviews
15We were greeted by a really friendly lady (Blanca) as we walked in. They called my name as soon as I started writing my name on the form, didn't even finishing filling it out. Went back and told them what happen and Nurse Daeleen and Courtney were the best and took the best care of me while I was there. Dr. Gibson was amazing and made me laugh through the whole experience which has never happened before at any other place. They were wonderful and I will not hesitate in coming here again, they are great and treat you very well. Thank you so much! I even left there with a smile!
Came here to get my child seen on 27 January 2024 for an issue that concerned us after the doctor found out I had TRICARE perceived to make the situation worse than what it was even after I refused a CT scan. The doctor got very upset and aggressive, I had to stand my ground and tell them that I will be leaving and heading back to my military base so my child can be seen by Military doctor, once I got the results from the military base I found out that the doctor at this urgent care falsely diagnosed my child, the doctors on base immediately knew what the issue was for my child. I don’t understand what their practices are here, but I urge everyone and I will never recommend this place to no one at all this includes all my family and friends that live in the Schertz area. I will be reporting this place to Joint Base San Antonio so they can be placed on the black list. Stay away from this place by all means possible if you are military they will take advantage of you, because you have TRICARE.
After briefly speaking to a nurse, in walks the front desk staff to tell me they've ordered a COVID test, and to retrieve payment. No one has looked at me. No one checked my ears or throat, that i was compaining about. I requested to see an actual Dr and in walks Dr RAYFIELD. I ask him why and he sits down and and proceeds to tell me I'm uneducated because I refuse a covid test. Seems to me this facility is all about the money and no longer about the care of the patient.
The staff were all very nice and welcoming. The doctor took time to listen and everyone went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Excellent service. Very much appreciated all of them!
Took my four month old baby there on a Saturday morning & received prompt & compassionate care. Had an misunderstanding regarding payment & was very pleased with how the situation was handled, professional and courteous
Clean and quiet with a kind, attentive staff. One thing that needs addressing is that the center does not have antibiotics ointment on site- My 12yo had stitches removed last week and we were sent home with instructions to "apply antibiotic ointment". I asked the doctor if he could just apply some then and there, but he said he didn't have any!? $250 stitches and no antibiotic ointment?
Very nice staff, you all were so friendly, compassionate about my welfare. I look forward if I need emergency service again I will be going back to them! I recommend them. VC.
William Gibson is by far the worst doctor I’ve ever seen in my life. He is very inconsiderate and heartless of the patients that come in. I came in because I have been sick and started coughing up bloody green mucus and he said he won’t give me anything for something that is viral, along with other distasteful remarks. He is very arrogant and should not be a doctor. Awful human being.
I went to this place last night. I’ve had really good care before the times I have gone. I went in last night short of breath and my asthma was acting up. I had previously been there twice before and dr Gibson gave me steroids and an antibiotic and did a chest X-ray. He also was the one that discovered I had RSV. I’ve been doing xopenex neb treatment at home and taking medication. My vitals were good in the er. I wanted this new dr to do a chest X-ray because I’ve had pneumonia before and he wouldn’t and I felt like I was out of breath at times. He listened to me and said I had no wheezing. He kept saying I’m not giving you antibiotics I said I don’t want them. I told him I might need an extension of steroids because I could not get into my pulmonary dr till next week and my primary dr went back to seeing pediatric patients only recently. I cannot believe how I was treated first by his witch nurse who listened to my lungs and said I wasn’t wheezing and of course I was. I’m 50 years old and was born with asthma.the nurse says that’s why antibiotics don’t work because it’s viral. She needs an attitude adjustment. Getting back to the dr. I told him my symptoms he didn’t even bother to do a stronger neb treatment on me like the last dr there. The dr said maybe if you take something to calm you down I said I did at home. Well maybe you need to take more. He’s worthless. I’ll look at your vitals and the dr walks out their on the monitor duh he can see them. I have a child that has 24 hour nursing and chronically sick. I know all medical terms, breathing issues and equipment. So I signed myself out which I have never done before and headed down to a hospital er.
The dr said at the hospital er I had wheezing in my left lung and he Took a chest X-ray and extended my steroids. This happened 7 pm December 28th at the schertz cibolo er.
I needed urgent care and was attended to promptly and thoroughly by Dr. Gibson and his fine group of professionals.
This is the worst place I have brought my son (Wynston). The doctor (John Rayfield, MD) barely looked at him and said it was a simple cough virus. He never looked at his throat or ears or anything. I told him it wasn't just a simple cough but he didn't believe me. My son got worse throughout the week and we ended up going to a different clinic and the Doctor there thoroughly checked my son and she agreed it is croup and an ear infection. This made me furious because this place here did not do thier jobs. My son got worse from the doctors here.
This my go to urgent clinic! Everyone is always so welcoming and caring. Dr. Gibson is the best! Thank you for making my daughter's experience as good as it could've been. Her arm is much better!
Dr. Gibson and the entire were simply amazing. I was seen immediately and my care was superior. I would definitely recommend this Urgent Care.
Just left my appt with SCEC, and they were fantastic! Very helpful, very friendly! Dr Gibsons demeanor was almost medicine in itself and made my daughter forget she was even sick.
Thank you!
Today I had to take my kiddo in for stitches on her palm. I could not be more impressed with the medical care she received and the staff (from the lady greeting us to the assistants to the nurses to the AMAZING Dr. GIBSON). It made her experience a lot easier and less stressful. They were caring, kind, professional, and patient; everything a parent would want and expect when their child is in need of care. Thank you to the A Team that worked tonight!
