After my dad's passing we chose Viss for funeral services. Ronnie walked us through the process and was kind and supportive throughout. He was in contact with us for the week prior to the service, and helped us remember all the tasks we needed to complete along the way. He is an exceptional person and a great fit in this line of work. We never felt pressure in any sense. Cost for service was very reasonable. My family and I highly recommend Viss Family Funeral Home.

Ronnie and his staff were extraordinarily patient, caring and helpful during a very difficult time. While I hope to not need their services again anytime soon, should tragedy strike, I would not hesitate to call on them again.

My dad (a veteran) had the most beautiful service, thanks to Ronnie. He was extremely patient with my family and I, he answered and explained any questions we had. He did everything to my family’s liking and truly cares about his clients and their relatives. He helped us contact the VA and the cemetery to make the arrangements. We called many funeral homes, but I felt very welcomed at this one.

The George Kroeger family would like to thank Ronnie Viss and staff from Scotts funeral home for their professionalism and truly caring ways. From the minute they arrived to pick up George to the end of the grave side service they were very helpful, volunteering to assist in the paperwork that is required after the death of a loved one. Being under COVID 19 restrictions it was more difficult to organize the viewing, funeral service and burial, yet they did an outstanding job. I would recommend Scott’s Funeral home to everyone.

Ron and all of the employees at Scott’s Funeral Home worked well with us and provided a wonderful home-going for our beloved mother. They had no issue answering any of our questions-even if it was the same question numerous times. Unfortunately, due to COVID, veterans are not able to get the military honors. Ronnie helped teach the non military members of our family how to help the military members of our family fold the flag that was presented to my mom. Me and my family lost our beloved mother in December 2019. Fortunately before her passing, we met with Ronnie and made all the funeral arrangements. This process was very difficult, but Ronnie and his staff were amazing. Their kindness and genuine care made our loss much more bearable. Ronnie, thank you again for all of your assistance. Unfortunately I lost my lifelong companion of over 50 years on Thanksgiving morning 2019. Fortunately my wife and I had the foresight to have made final funeral arrangements thru Scott’s Funeral Home in Copperas Cove. From the time that my wife was pronounced dead by the Hospice Nurse to the time that “Ronnie” the Funeral Director arrived at the house, it took less than 45 minutes. Upon Ronnie’s arrival he expressed his warm and sincere and heartfelt condolences. In a very dignified manner Ronnie proceeded to prepare my wife body for transport to the funeral home. Once again I was touched by his actions and words of comfort. I could tell that this was not an easy act for him to perform as he to was visibly struck. I could further tell that Ronnie did not want to leave me alone in the house at the time. I reassured Ronnie that I would be ok. It was then after receiving my assurances that he departed. The following days were not easy on me. Ronnie and his staff made it appoint to make sure that I knew that this was the beginning of a life long experience and friendship. The Funeral Home is maintained in a high state of cleanliness and optimum organizational effectiveness. My wife had an open casket viewing. My wife looked so lifelike that to me and most of the people that approached the casket for viewing could not believe how close to her original looks and complexion Ronnie managed to obtain. To date I still receive phone calls and text messages from Ronnie. His professionalisms, demonstrated genuine care and concern serve to speak of his desire to ensure that each family member knows that yes this is the end of a dear one life, but as importantly is the beginning of a new friendship forge in time of distress. To you and your staff on behalf of my dear Lily and all family members thank you for making this such dignified experience.

I cannot say one bad thing about Ronnie and David for their support and compassion. He never let me down. Ronnie helped me in many ways and it was a blessing. I called today to thank him again after viewing our headstone that he helped me locate right to the Blue Opal shade it will shine beautifully in the sunlight. I mentioned a blue headstone and found it and it was done as I chose. That meant a lot it was very personal to me
