Sea Pony Bait and Tackle, Winnie TX

My friend and i went into this bait and tackle shop the owner was amazing and very friendly so much knowledge of the area took the time to help us out as we are from California and we're passing thru honestly was a pleasure just picking his brain and learning as much as we can he showed me a hook i couldn't believe that's what is used out there in California we are worried about how thick the lines are that fish will see them lol in tx things really are bigger lol had a great time anytime I'm in the area we will definitely stop by and support small business great man he knows the two manny and Ruben also showed us real Texas hospitality gave us few mullets for bait on the house also got a cool hat thank you again

This looks like your normal coastal bait shop. Broken down steps on the way in the smell of cut bait in the air. Then you walk into a world of amazing supply of tackle and rods and reels. Then you get to experience the best part dealing with an owner that was so honest the he ran to the truck to catch his mistake on the cost of a leader. I will love to say it going to be my bait and tackle supply for years to come.

Have anything you need at good prices. I guess it’s the owner that went out of his way to ship me a reel. Even bought it at old prices. Saved me a lot of money. Look forward to doing more business with this place.

Me and a good friend stopped to get bait and left with very nice combos and a nice rod. The owner was very helpful we could have stayed there most of the day talking to him. Thanks for everything, we will definitely be back and will highly recommend the Sea Pony to everyone.

…. I picked up some Mullet from you yesterday 09/01/2022 and I did real good…I caught a 37” Red and 16- Specks in the surf they started to hit at about 5: 00 pm…. NOTE…ALL OF THE FISH CAUGHT WERE NOT HARMED AND RELEASED TO SWIM ANOTHER DAY…!

Great place to stock up! Not saying that only their mullet catches sharks, but their mullet caught our 4ft sandbar.

If they don't have it then you don't need it! They had everything we needed plus much more. Great bait and tackle shop;

Guy was alittle rude.place was dark inside.didnt act like he wanted too sell anything.so came back too Ft Worth n bought my supplies at Cabelas.
