This is a great Sears store and it's not closing because of customer demands. Sears is expanding stores again and we support Sears, thank you Sears
First they have a huge amount of tools not in stock, to include ratchets. If you need a ratchet you would have to buy a complete tool set. Their manager (Jessica) is very rude and refused to exchange a broken socket I had just because I didn’t have a phone number for her.
I want To know if Owners Of Sears In Cielo vista mall will officially start a Closing Sale or not I came by in May 2 years ago and did store tour. I want to know if there officially closing this location cuz Sunland mall sears is closed permanently.
This is the very end of the retail legend. Only 11 stores remain as of 2023-07-02 and this one had little to sell. So sad. Farewell old friend.
Went looking for some shoes. They don't have enough in the store, what you see on the shelves, is what they got!
Sears is one of the most inefficient companies, will never buy from them again. I bought a refrigerator in January (paid in full), when it arrived it was defective so they exchanged it for another one which had the same problem. At first they wanted to use the "warranty" to "fix" it which I refused because i did not want a defective fixed fridge when that was the reason I bought a brand new one. After a lot of calls they accepted to refund me on it. This happened in February, it is now April and I am still waiting on that refund.
Do not buy from Sears.
With sadness I see that there is no assortment in the entire store, all the areas with many shortages, it is no longer the SEARS of yesteryear

Bought a refrigerator.super helpful and friendly in store. Spent 1400 on this fridge and waited a week for delivery. It does not work. Had it plugged in for 3 days and it never got cool. Talked to 7 different people getting the runaround until i was near tears on the phone. Finally got someone to come look at it and the compressor is busted, i need to wait another 2 weeks for parts. At first they are saying i need to pay for them to look at it and for the parts.another run around. I have no date for when this fridge will be fixed.and honestly i bought it because i needed it badly and trusted them and was convinced it was a good appliance. I simply cant afford this.
Sears is the absolute worst, rudest, most inefficient company I've had to deal with in a while. Bought brand new washers and dryers less than a year ago WITH a warranty (scam don't bother trying to use it) and the pump in the washer went out. They sent a tech out to diagnose which WE had to pay for. After the tech made his diagnosis, he determined it was an equipment failure covered by the warranty.
We made a call to claims: first time they sent it to the wrong house in Grand Prairie, TX. We're in El Paso. No big deal, mistakes happen.
3 weeks later, second call to see where the part is. "There's no record of a part being placed. We're sorry. Let's handle that now. "
THIRD attempt and another 3 weeks later. "We have no record of you CALLING. " Are you joking?
After jumping through all the automated systems, we finally reach someone, they tell us there's no record, then they hang up after saying we cant help you. It's absolutely ridiculous.
We haven't had a washer in the last 3 months because of Sears customer service. It's no wonder you guys went bankrupt and shut down stores nationwide. It's beyond me how you even overcame that bankruptcy with the way your customer service is both in person and over the phone. It's a good thing they changed their slogan from "you can count on Sears" cause that's an absolute lie.
Will never be returning to Sears in the future and will encourage everyone I know to do the same. Go with a better store that actually treats their customers with a fraction if respect.
Oh and before corporate responds to this review with a "please email us so we can resolve this". We've done that too.
I visit the store on Nov 25 2022, the lady like in the 50's was so rude with me and with another Spanish people, her actitude changed with white people, I will never go back again to that specific store.
