I wanted to take a moment to publicly express my deepest gratitude for the incredible support and care you provided to my mom during her journey to recovery. Your dedication to her case management has been nothing short of remarkable, and it's made all the difference in her healing process.

From the very beginning, everyone went above and beyond to ensure that my mom received the best possible care. Your tireless efforts in coordinating with our insurance and advocating for her needs were truly outstanding. It was a relief to know that you were working diligently to make sure she got into the inpatient rehab facility that she truly deserved.

Thanks to your expertise and commitment, my mom's recovery has been progressing positively, and she's in the right place to receive the care and attention she needs. Your compassion and professionalism have not gone unnoticed, and my family and I are immensely grateful for everything you've done.

I was transferred from Medical City Lewisville July 2020 During the hight of the Covid Epidemic to Select Specialty Hospital Plano in their long term Critical Illness Recovery Division after my emergency surgery on my colon that resulted in highly complex medical issues that this hospital was well suited for treating. Dr Ketan Patel the head Internist there collaborated with my Dr. Steven Ward Lacey his surgeon’s Dr Clifford Cox and Dr. Sina Matin and mapped out a long term treatment plan to be executed at Select to treat my medical complications which involved TPN and extensive wound management care. I was in extremely in bad shape medically and it involved Dr Hina Rizvi’s wound management expertise and many other highly specialized and caring nurses to stabilize me and to restore my health in order to get me to my final surgery at Baylor Grapvine Jan 2021 with Dr Cox and Dr. Sina Matin. I received nothing but the best from Dr Patel checking on me twice a day and reporting back to my specialist Dr Lacey in Southlake and surgeons Dr Cox and Dr. Sina Matin with constant updates. Dr Hina Rizvi and her wound management team were extremely aggressive in treating my wounds and taught me the skill set to handle my wound management by myself which came in handy later on down the road. They also taught me the importance to get my nutrition level back in check through TPN in order for the wounds to close effectively. After a three month stay I left in a healthier condition to transfer me back home in order for me to continue TPN and finish the wound management process until Jan 2021 for my final colon surgery by Dr Cox and abdominal reconstruction surgery by Dr Sina Matin. I am still in a recuperation process after the final surgery on Jan 2021 but extremely great full to the care I received by Dr Patel, Dr Hina Rizvi, her wound management team and many other nurses at Select. Yes I did experience issues with the case management team there but the CEO John O' Hearn personally got involved and resolved the case issues. He also visited with me and gave me his business card. What I learned from the entire process you have to have a strong mind set determination to survive to meet everyone there halfway to make it out successfully and to have the ability to learn how to take care yourself and treat your condition from these Drs and nurses at Select to transition home or to transfer to your next level of care. Thanks for taking the part in saving my life.

I am so very glad that my mama ended up here after a several month ordeal in the hospital. There could not have been a better person to manage my moms healing, mental and physical, than Dr. Allen and the incredible staff which surrounds him. My mama cried when it was time to leave this facility, but is now at a skilled nursing home where we followed Dr. Allen and he’s able to continue managing her case. For my family, this place was a god send.

After interviewing and touring several places for my adult daughter finding Select acute care was a blessing.
When first walking in and meeting staff we knew it was the best place for her.
We met Dr Henry Allen on that day and left with no doubt that this is where my daughter would be best cared for.
We were very right. She received not only the necessary medical care but loving care and encouragement daily for the two and one half months that she was there.
Dr. Allen is one of the most caring and best doctors that you could ask for. He embraced not only my daughter but all of her family at a very difficult time. He always had time for our questions and guided us through the milestone of her recovery that he oversaw daily.
I very highly recommend Select Acute Care and Dr. Henry Allen.

If I could leave a zero star review, I would. This place is criminal and should NOT be trusted with your loved ones. My father was admitted at 7pm one night, and did not receive any sort of care until 4 am the next day! My father suffer a catastrophic stroke, had dangerously low blood pressure and diabetes. No one checked his glucose levels or dosed him with insulin for HOURS. He ended up being rushed to the ER in critical condition due to their inability to do their job correctly. My father suffered at the hands of pure incompetence. Absolutely disgusting how they can care so little for human life even though they swore to protect it.
Please, protect your loved ones and take them somewhere else. They deserve more than this establishment could ever offer them.

Thank you Specialty staff for taking care of my husband. With wound care and Dr Rizvi overseeing my recovery while he was there, he has finally healed. The doctors and nurses were wonderful.

I am so grateful for the treatment and professional care I was given at this facility. I definitely would recommend this facility to others.

Very blessed we found this place for my wife, Dr. Allen is one of the best. After spending 91 days at medical city plano and coming here although medical city there was more good than bad nurses, select has definitely been outstanding and staff has been better than we could of hoped for. Thank you all.
