Senior Helpers reviews
5Senior Helpers is the best of 3 agencies I have tried. Staff members are easy to communicate with and respond quickly to requests, and the workers are friendly, efficient, and kind. I recommend Senior Helpers.
Having 2 elderly parents who did not want to have anyone in their house, and kids living out of town, Sr. Helpers will give you a feel of how things are going-; they will work with you to find the perfect fit for the caretaker who will suit the needs of your loved one; we have used them for about 2 years
The caregiver I was assigned was wonderful. She is a hard worker and had the knowledge and experience to be a great resource for me. Furthermore, the coordinating office (Dr Youngblood and Ms Marshall) was responsive and the communication was prompt and on target. I highly recommend this organization if you need some special care for a loved one for a short or long-term need.
We had 24/7 caregivers for my wife for a month and then I had heart bypass surgery. When I came home from rehab we had 27/4 caregivers for my wife and myself for about a month. Senior Helpers is a class organization and their caregivers are all experienced in the health care industry. They make sure your caregivers work well with your family and help in many ways: health care, transportation, picking up curbside groceries, preparing meals, and picking up prescriptions. We absolutely could not have done without their help for two months.
This company allowed me the opportunity to work for them and care for
my mother. Marie is a fine, patient, decent lady and tries
to make sure that everybody is taken care of. I feel fortunate to have gotten the experience & care for my mother that I did with Senior Helpers. Sadly, they no longer take Medicaid recipients and we have been forced to find another company to transfer to. Fortunately, she let us know at the beginning of the year that they would no longer be doing that and gave us a couple months to make the transition. We understand that sometimes you have to make decisions for the better of your business. We love them dearly and will miss them. We hope for the very best for all of them.
