Horrible customer service. Went to this location first time with my sister who had worked at Sephora. She approached a girl who was doing her nails and asked her a question about a product, and the girl just shook her head No and continued to do her nails on the clock. Then at check out, there were five employees at the front of the registers and the girl on the left clearly saw us approach the counter, waiting to be called on. Then she stated that she thought we were with the other customer who was already checking out at the register next to us, which we clearly were not. She would not even make eye contact with us, my sister asked her a question at checkout to use her gift card. She ignored her and was super inattentive.

I give 3 stars because I went in to do a full face that was quoted at 60 dollars on the website. When I went in to get it done it was 60 plus 25 application fee. I felt like the price should be all included. I want to go in with the mindset of this is how much I’m paying. The young lady Tia did a wonderful job. She did everything I asked for

Went in for a 60 min full face makeup service. I arrived a few minutes before my appointment. My makeup artist was absolutely lovely and took his time doing my makeup. He ran a bit over which I didn't say anything about because he was doing a phenomenal job and was super sweet. When he was finishing up and went to get the product for my lips to be done, blush and mascara he returned apologetically saying that his boss said that he was unable to finish my makeup because we were over time and asked if he could send me with some samples of the product so that I could finish my makeup myself at home.

Beyond baffled, I asked to speak to his "senior artist" who tells me that we exceeded our time and that he cannot finish my makeup (mind you there were no other makeup appointments after me - I asked) because the artist was needed on the floor. After insisting that they do my lips because I paid for a FULL face not a partial face, the senior artist stated that he would have to ask his manager, in which I asked to speak to her as well.

My sweet artist did my lips, but I left with no mascara and incomplete blush. After speaking with Lisa, the manager, about the rude interaction I had with the "senior artist" and receiving an incomplete service, she addressed my concerns condescendingly with "well you still look beautiful" and sent me off with a "goodie bag". Will not be getting my makeup done here again. Go to the galleria.

No less than 10 employees came and asked if I need help. It’s nice, but I told each of them I was just browsing. I’ve been to other Sephora stores that I couldn’t get any help! I will take the badgering over the nonexistent assistance any day! I did end up purchasing some powder. When they ask if anyone helped you, what do you say? Everyone? !?

Best experience at Sephora EVER! I came in to exchange a fragrance that just wasn’t right for me. I was promptly greeted by someone at the door who guided me to the fragrance area. Then an amazing fragrance expert named Sam helped me find the perfect Tom Ford scent for me! She was AMAZING AND SO KNOWLEDGEABLE! Next I wondered around (briefly) looking for face sheet masks when another lovely and knowledgeable consultant named…. Sam helped me select a some goodies from the Sephora collection. She was so friendly and funny and just made my day. Overall, love the experience at this location and will definitely find my way back again!

Terrible, ordered online they took my money then I go to the store to pick up but they state that I have no order in place and to call my bank to fix it. So it’s up to me to fix there mistake even tho they took my money. I have to take time out of my day to fix an issue they caused, all I can say is terrible customer service and do not order online they will take your money and no complete your order or have a trace of it (happened twice)

First off why are people hovering over me every second they get, but for whatever reason i still can’t get actual help from anyone when i need it. Just terrible customer service. This Sephora is by far the worst experience i’ve had in Houston. Black and brown people beware gives off racist vibes please avoid go to the Galleria location or Rice Village.

I honestly hate shopping at Sephora but this is the only place that sells certain exclusive brands like CT, Pat M, Makeup by Mario, higher end brands like Dior, Chanel, Givenchy etc …. I’m rouge status here (which means I buy a lot of makeup and know what I’m doing) and every single time I come here I have to deal with your too close for comfort staff…Stop asking me every 5 minutes if I need help.stop trying to give me your unwanted opinions or “hey let me show you this” or a “what are you looking for today? ” questions…. I can’t even look around in peace because I have your staff in my ear or I have them hovering over me like a hawk. I’ve been doing my makeup for over 20 years, I don’t need some 20 year to give me their advice I never asked for…This place annoys TF outta me.

I've been to this location at least 3 times and the staff have been helpful each time. Some have asked if I need help with anything if no one is assisting and I'm looking around.

I've been for a feature focus appointment to do makeup in the eye area. Specifically eyeshadow, eyebrows, and apply faux lashes. Don't remember the guy's name but he did pretty well. Mind you, I'm a novice with makeup and still learning. First time having a guy do my makeup ever.

The other times I've been in the store was to figure out what concealer, foundation, and perfume to get. Got the most help on my last visit with foundation and it's because of this new tool they use, which involves taking a photo of your skin in 3 areas to determine which foundation fits you best. It wasn't always accurate and it depends on if you have any hyperpigmentation.

I wish Sephora would offer free classes like they did in the past.

All the girls were super nice and helpful, I preferd this location more than the Rice Village location. I went to pikup and ended buying more treats for the season.

The new manager Amanda is incompetent. She has colored hair, and typically in the front. She basically told me a specific foundation was not in stock when it was. I asked to check again because I could tell she didn’t know what she was doing, and she said NO i can’t check I have to finish training. One of the beauty experts ended up finding it. Unbelievable. This store is awful, I rather just purchase online.

I’ve only been to this location twice. I’ve found everything I’ve needed. Only thing is that it doesn’t feel welcoming as some of the other reviews have stated.

First time, I went in to purchase a foundation, bronzer, and blush. Even though I had already found my shade through the shade finder online, I always make sure that is the case and this is precisely why I like going into Sephora, for the assistance from people who are generally more knowledgeable when in comes to makeup. I was able to flag someone down after about five minutes but it felt as if I was causing some sort of inconvenience to her. Mind you, there were very few customers in store at the time (morning on a weekday).

Second time I went in, there were a group of workers at the entrance, nobody greeted. I was able to find what I needed fairly quickly and someone did ask me if I was finding everything okay.

Parking has never been an issue at this location, at least not during the week in the morning. Conveniently located.

Overall, you can find what you need. Customer relations needs a bit of improvement. Next time I find myself in need of assistance, I’m more than likely to go to Nordstrom or Macy’s for it. Otherwise, i will keep ordering online.

This is my go to Sephora because it is right next to my house. Have never had a bad experience. Leaving this review for my girl Tania who helped me out the other day, she told me they did not carry the shape tape from Tarte but sold me on the Hourglass concealer and omg I love it. Felt like she was genuine about what else she would recommend instead of just trying to sell me on something like they do at Ulta sometimes. Also, color matched me perfectly. Thank u Miss Tania! She was so nice, just like every other employee i have encountered at this location. Parking can be limited, but in the area it is in that is a given

Every experience I've had at this location has been bad. Either the place is empty and I can't get anybody to help me, or it's packed but every single employee is following me in that "we think you're shoplifting" way, asking me every 10 seconds if I need help while ignoring the customers who are actually trying to get help. You're better off dealing with Galleria parking and crowds instead of trying to shop here.

Every time I go to this location, the employees follow me (and my sisters) around and repeatedly ask if we “need help”. They make it very obvious they think we’re stealing.it’s kind of racist because i noticed they didn’t do that with the white people that came in.they only followed and harassed the four latinos that were in there.we make sure to keep our hands out in the open so they won’t keep bothering us but it literally doesn’t stop till we pay for our stuff and leave.

If you look like a minority you will most likely not get greeted or helped. Went in one afternoon when it was not busy and no one asked if I needed help. Finally got asked if I needed help when I open their bottom drawers (which I shouldn’t but out desperation I did) looking for a product which I was hoping to find and buy. This is the second Sephora I go to and no one helps out.

Went here today during lunch hours and just wanted to mention Stephanie — she was kind and helpful. She helped me find my color match for foundation and even added it to my profile for me. Thank you!

A very pleasant experience. The staff was very helpful.

I also returned an item purchased online, and I had positive interactions with two staff members.

This is my go to Sephora store. All the employees are so friendly. I went there a few weeks ago and Tia helped me choose my foundation shade. She was really nice. I highly recommend shopping at this location.

Stephanie gave me some one on one support with matching my foundation & helping me choose a good concealer. All of the personnel were super attentive and accommodating.
