Seth's Lake Fork Creek, Quitman TX

We tried Seth's for the first time tonight, and it far exceeded our expectations. Honestly, our real motive in going there was to try the white chocolate bread pudding. Oh my goodness! It was divine! We ordered cheeseburgers and fries, which were perfectly prepared. I asked for my fries to be crisp, and they were. We observed a few people who ordered the Cajun chicken Alfredo with toast. It looked amazing, and I may try it on my next visit. I was told to consider ordering the pork ribeye in the future because it is so good. It is infused with butter once they come in and then dipped in honey and seared, making a unique and tasty treat. Honestly, I think I want to try almost everything on the menu.

This is our absolute favorite place to eat on special occasions! The food is always exceptional.

This little hole in the wall and East Texas is quite a surprise. They can cook up some steaks that will match or surpass the best you can find in fort Worth. The service is very good all entrees are huge and delicious. It is a BYOB. Have been there a few times now and will continue to visit this restaurant.
Just stopped in again and happy to report all is the same, servers are nice and the food is great.

Was not impressed at all. Paid $60 for an appetizer, green beans, they were soggy and had no flavor. Ordered the ribeye because we saw a video put together by Wood County where it was said they had the best steak in East Texas, that would not be the case, it was pretty much raw, and was grey in color. Ordered the boiled corn and onion rings. No where on the menu did it say the corn was dusted with anything. The seasoning on the corn was so spicy that it burned my lips and mouth and I eat spicy food and peppers. The onion rings had no flavor.

To top it off we got to the restaurant about 730 and when the waitress came over her comment was we close at 8 so do you know what you want to order otherwise we won't have time to cook for you.

I own a restaurant, she would be fired immediately. Hospitality is everything in this industry. We never turn anyone away. If you treat your customers like they are an irritant, you are in the wrong industry.

Unfortunately, I won't be back.

I was disappointed the last two times I was here. I had the blacked fish, and it was soggy and horrible. The service was great, so you can't waitstaff.

We went on a Friday night for the endless catfish. It was our first time going and let me tell you, if you like BIG portions and delicious food then this is the place for you!

Great catfish and sweet potatoes fries. The fried mushrooms were tiny or possibly chopped. I was hoping for the big deep fried ones. But overall a wonderful experience.

Amazing place and people, felt like family. Great food, plenty of portion size! Very delicious and creative menu.

It was our Anniversary and Rosemary's birthday. We called ahead to see if they could cook with no salt and Seth said yes. We got there he came out and discuss everything we wanted which was blacken fish, shrimp, and green beans. He had a great no salt blacken seasoning. We also ordered the crab claws fried with no salt.
We cheated on the gumbo, ettufiee, and beans and rice, which were outstanding.

This eating experience was obsolutely fantastic. The wait staff was all over everything you could possibly need. They were fun and interactive. Because it was Rosemary's birthday they brought her free chocolate pie and because it was our anniversary they brought us free bread pudding to go.

This place place rocks. The atmosphere is laid back and casual. We had a great time and will absolutely be back. Way above our expectations. Seth thank you so much you have a class act there.

The service here speaks volumes! They wait on you hand and foot, the food is A HUGE AMOUNT & most definitely worth going!

Seth’s was HAND DOWN AWESOME! Heck! Seth is awesome! He sat out in the dining room & answered any & all questions we had. The food, atmosphere & sweet employees were more than 5 stars. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re at the lake.

Perfect food, more than perfect staff and just the right atmosphere to focus on your company and the food. Well done!

Finally found a place who had seafood on the menu. Service was good, food was good, really liked their tartar sauce.
