Love this Dr and practice, I felt very comfortable and cared for. After discussing IUD insertion and how nervous I was, Dr Prisacaru walked me through the procedure and offered a few different pain management options. My insertion went very smoothly and was not very painful. Highly recommend!

If I could give Seven Hills and Dr. Prisacaru negative stars, I would. I had the most humiliating and horrible appointment in my entire life today with her. I already dread women's health appointments, and she left an impression on me that I will likely not forget. Her bedside manner is reprehensible, and for someone who has been practicing for years, shame on her for making me feel embarrassed and humiliating for being anxious/nervous during an exam. She stopped the exam halfway to interrogate me about how I usually "perform" during exams with previous OBGYNs and told me to go back to my old one if I was going to continue to be tense. Isn't that totally normal behavior? I had to explain to her how and why I was feeling tense as if that needed any explanation and she even asked very intimate details about my previous relationships (did they cheat, etc?) I do not recommend to her to anyone and her demeanor and behavior is absolutely disgusting. I will never be returning, and I left her office feeling ashamed.

I saw Dr. Prisacaru for a couple visits due to wanting to change birth control method and for inquiring about my endometriosis.

Pro: Dr. Prisacaru is the only doctor who has taken my endometriosis seriously since I started having symptoms in high school. I saw her when I was 23 and she was very kind and helpful for doing tests on me for endometriosis.

Con #1: When inquiring about my endometriosis, I asked if we could do any testing. She said yes and proceeded to give me one of the most painful exams I've ever experienced. At the end, I was balling in my car from the pain. She gave me absolutely no heads up of what the procedure would be, did not talk me through it or ask for consent for that.

Con #2: I first went to see Dr. Prisacaru to change from the pill to something that would not interact with my narcolepsy medication. I had two prior gynecologists who didn't know what my narcolepsy medication was or knew there was an interaction to make the BC less effective (by up to 30% less effective!) so I went to a new doctor to see what other options were.
I showed up to my appt.and I remember printing out a scientific article and page from a national health organization that clearly shows there IS an interaction between most hormonal birth control and my narcolepsy medication (modafinil). Dr. Prisacaru shooed me away when I tried to show this to her and said "thank you but I already know all that". Obviously she did NOT because later I found out she was wrong.
I tried the patch for two months, then I wanted to switch because you can't really swim for too long with the patch, so we decided to do the Nuvaring. I knew something was up when I saw the name of my Modafinil specifically listed on the information from the pharmacy that there was a drug interaction. I was spotting with the Nuvaring so I called my pharmacist and timidly asked if there was an interaction and the pharmacist said yes, this birth control I was been prescribed by Dr. Prisacaru interacted and the narcolepsy drug made it up to 30% LESS EFFECTIVE! I then confirmed with my new gynecologist as well.

Dr. Prisacaru, you were wrong. I should not have had to go through that traumatic experience all because you refused to listen to me about my Narcolepsy. Please educate yourself about this drug and do better. I am still shocked that this happened.
