Estephania was such a pleasure to work with and an expert at what she does! She added bustles to the back of my dress, hemmed it with all of its lace and beading as well as MADE MY straps! She worked with my budget and completed the dress quickly. Estephania is extremely talented and I highly recommend.

I’ve been seeing Sew by Design since early May and may I say- I’m so grateful for them. I had two dresses that were small on my chest area and they were able to make it fit! For both dresses, I only gave them a week to finish. Thankfully they got both of them done at a timely matter AND it wasn’t that expensive. I highly recommend them

The lady was super negative about the job and then charged me 40$ for a mediocre job. I was thoroughly disappointed. I trusted the lady because a friend recommended her but honestly her work is not professional.

I really like the quality of work they offer. It’s in a humble location but the work is phenomenal.

They did an amazing job on my daughter’s dress for Covergirl. All my daughter had was a picture of what she wanted and they were able to recreate it perfectly. They texted me when it was time for her fitting, and made sure that her dress for her properly and that she was comfortable. At her final fitting they asked about adding details to the back of the dress as it looked very plain and we’re able to get the details done in a few days. Thank you so much.

These ladies showed great patience with my alteration requests. I so appreciate that we discussed and ensured that my shirts turned out perfectly. Will be returning again.

Worst customer service I called to ask if work on weekends so I can leave my husbands vest for it to be ready for the following week and they told me they couldn’t that they didn’t have time. I didn’t need it for today *saturday* I just wanted to ask if they sew that kind of material cause they had sewed my fathers vest a while back, just wanted to make sure if they still did that. So I don’t recommend coming here lady on the phone was rude and seemed so lazy I just asked a simple question….

This place was so great! If you ever need alterations for a dress, I definitely recommend this place. Estefania was very helpful and always responded to me when I had a question or if I wanted to add something. My wedding dress alterations were done in a timely manner and I couldn’t be happier with the results!

I had taken my dress to David's Bridal for alterations and they were charging me a ton more and not even fixing what I wanted fixed. I took the dress to 2 seamstresses and both said they couldn't fix it because of the lace detail. I found Sew by Design and Estefania did an amazing job! She made my dress fit perfect and I am so thankful to her for making this experience a non stressful one. She is also very nice and responds promptly if you have questions. She did such a great job and I would recommend her to anyone. I am so thankful to her because I was feeling very discouraged prior to finding her that my dress would not get altered. Thank you for fixing my dream dress!

I had contacted them a few months prior to the event that I needed a dress for and they were able to make the dress to our specifications. All I had were photos for reference and they made the dress perfect. They were very professional and kept me up to date on the dress. The day I picked up the dress it was carefully laid out and placed neatly in a garment bag. I cannot say enough on how well they did their job. The dress is very well made. I highly recommend them if you're needing something made or alterations. Next time I need anything I will definitely be coming back.

2/16/22, Recently dropped off a dress and received an affordable quote so the work is in progress.: -) Since they are able to work from home, I think that this helps clients and them keep it affordable because we bypass renting a shop. Note, there won't be a business sign since it's an Apt complex. Also, my GPS might not have been accurately calibrated - maybe that's why I parked infront of the next hall. So I called, and Stephanie met me outside. I changed in one of the private rooms and discussed what sagging area was sewn incorrectly at manufacturer's. I was informed that her mother is the tailor and was away so I would receive a callback if a fix is possible and what cost. Since it is a small business, they keep track with a handwritten logbook of contact info and short description of item. I was given a business card for contacting them and went home. I was a little wary to entrust my item without a receipt of drop-off but did so because the business name seemed established. I think a Record booklet (that makes carbon or carbonless copy) would be a great improvement for organization. This drop-off receipt might give reassurance, especially to new people. It confirms the drop-off and can prevent mismatch of whose item is whose. Another suggestion would be to note on the drop-off receipt: 1) the drop-off date/time, 2) expected callback date/time and 3) Event date/time (luckily mine is in June, months away). The quoted price can be recorded when confirmed. Record booklets are available nearby, decent price and could help improve scheduling. - I realized that I didn't know when I would receive a callback.so I followed up 2 days later to ask if the fix was doable afterall. She updated that she'd contact in a few minutes after following up with her mother. I received a text that the fix is doable and the price. She was approachable on the phone, and I'm looking forward to enjoying the dress! Peaceful day to you. - 3/25/22 Update: picked up dress item today and v happy that I entrusted it with them! Miss Stephanie's mother did a great, tidy job. I otherwise would not have not gotten around to wearing it, with how the bulging chest was initially sewn at manufacturer's. Also, mine was noncritical since my occasion is months away, but if you are on a time crunch, I suggest to consider others; there may be # clients and to get in line. - Thanks to them for fixing!

After a nightmare experience with another seamstress, I found Sew by design and what a blessing it was. They were able to alter my wedding dress to perfection but more importantly COMPLETELY redo my Indian wedding dresses that were butchered by the last seamstress. Not only did they save the dresses but they were able to do it all with my limited timeline. THEY ARE MIRACLE WORKERS.

I asked this so called business to do some embroidery for a costume I was working on, I provided pictures for them and they told me they would take measurements. They never did anything, and when I checked on it a few months later they told me my materials were just sitting there. I just checked on them again and they told me they threw my stuff away because the apartment they live and work out of is too small.
This women have no work ethic and an attitude that shows an unwillingness to work, they stick to whats easy for them and act like the world owes them something. Stay away from them if you know what's good for, or better yet find out for yourself.

Yeah, great pride.even when I asked for a small alteration to the costume they made for me once the put a couple of stitches on it and called it a day. I had to pay another tailor to fix the costume right. Even he told me to take it back to them and for them to do it right. And now you're gonna blame the problem on the pandemic, the problem is that I gave you the materials and the instructions and you never lifted a finger to do anything but you sit there and say that you take great pride? Great pride on what?

I needed a last-minute alteration for a big event. It was a simple hemming of two pairs of dress pants. Everyone else I called said it would take several days, as they had to send it out to get the alterations done. Sew by Design answered the phone quickly, said she could do it by the next day, and gave me a fair price. I was very satisfied with the work and recommend this business highly.

She did such an amazing job! I always have to have jean alterations because of my height, and she provided quality work in such a short time span at a great price! I highly recommend and will be a returning customer!

The alteration was top notch and on the date promised. The price for the work was very reasonable.

Stephanie is a lifesaver! Needed a Jersey for the following day to be altered for my daughters cheer uniform and she had it done in just a couple of hours for me! I will definitely be going again with her for any work! She was very nice.
