ShadePro, New Braunfels TX

The nonprofit I work for recently completed a $2 million renovation of our facility… trust me, I’ve learned to anticipate and navigate a myriad of problems and challenges when it comes to building anything new in San Antonio. ShadePro recently completed two rather large canopies in our final stages of reconstruction that included the addition of a park. ShadePro, specifically ​the company representative Dennis Maloney, did a fantastic job. Absolutely a turnkey operation…. I didn’t have to fool with any cleanup or any issues whatsoever! Not to mention their product is First Class quality.
I would also like to mention, that Dennis visited the site several times to make sure everything went as anticipated…. I really appreciated his stewardship.
Obviously I recommend this company highly and I believe we’re going to be putting in another structure next year over the basketball court.

We have a very tight space for a shade structure with our fence and our required property setback. We weren't happy with basic or even custom-built metal frame structures and found ShadePro with an attractive, durable option that adds value to our home. Kyle came out, evaluated our situation, and assured us about the installation process. ShadePro teams carefully hydro blasted, then picked and augered (using a Bobcat) two holes for the supports very close to our foundation, fence, and porch steps, and installed the structure - all in a single day (9am to 7: 30pm) start to finish. They bring enough hands out to the site to move quickly yet do the job right. The cantilever design leaves an opening to the outside for moving items like trashcans around easily when needed. We've very happy with both how this looks and how it works. The area where we park is now much cooler and there should be less wear and tear on our car finish from mid and late-day sun. We are thrilled with our canopy! Tyler is amazing; he thought of every scenario of our pool and pavilion in order to maximize shade for our comfort. The installation crew showed up with a clear scope of work, was ready to start and our solution was installed in one day! We will definitely spend more time outdoors; our only regret is that we did not do this sooner - like before the hottest summer on the planet! However, we are ready for next year. ShadePro just installed a new shade in our community dog park. Kyle was great to work with, and they got the work done sooner than we were expecting! Our HOA contracted with ShadePro to design and install replacements for a set of aging shade canopies around our community pool. Kyle was great to work with. The communication during all phases of the design and install process was top notch and the crew did a great job with the install. The fit and finish of the frames and material look great and we're excited to open the pool next month. Our patrons are going to enjoy the new shades in colors that go with the expensive furniture we purchased for a high-end resort look and feel.

Everything in a post COVID environment seems to take longer, not an issue for ShadePro in isolation, but patience is required

Why this review.
This project started out as a response to a medical scare for skin cancer that required a shade to be installed over the pool area in order to remain usable. The problem statement for the project to solve was to provide shade to a specific location within the pool by means of a 16'x16' cantilevered square shade. Unfortunately due to area limitations for installation the final location of the shade did not satisfy the problem. Relocation of the shade to solve the problem was also not practical. I reached out to the ShadePro sales and leadership team to report the issue as request support for resolution.here is what happened next.

The same day i received a call from the sales and leadership team who worked with me to identify a solution that satisfied the original problem statement. They then offered to support and rectify the issue by taking it a step further and installing a second shade system at their expense. This resolution was far and above what i was expecting or would have expected.

The additional shade more than satisfied the original problem statement and allowed my family to continue their use of the pool in spite of the medical condition above.

Why does this matter? 1) ShadePro recognizes that as a small business reputation is everything and 2) Solving customer problems leads to repeat business and word of mouth recommendations.

My career is in industrial construction and i wish that all of our contractors demonstrated the same commitment and accountability that the ShadePro team has here.

I am so satisfied with the product, workmanship and customer service that i am in process of executing another deal with the same team for another location.

I think this is my first such internet review but based on my experience, which i now believe is typical of the ShadePro Team, i wanted to be sure to endorse this company, their product and especially their leadership commitment.

I’ve had my ShadePro cover up for 6-7 months now. Everyone from the top to installers, are very professional & kind. I worried about my new Escalade being damaged by the Texas heat. Not anymore. It’s now protected by my ShadePro cover! What a great investment! I highly recommend this product & company.
