Shake Shack Austin, South Lamar

Really good burgers and fries, however their shake to me was not as good as I had hoped. But overall a good place to get burgers. Plus I did notice they have a good variety of burgers and even a shroom burger.

Not impressed. But will start on a positive note. Bathrooms were very nice and clean. Burgers are ok. Value for price not worth it though. There water is straight from the faucet. Old ice cream for the shakes. Will never return or recommend.

The guy at the register was great and did a fantastic job serving customers even though the customers he was trying to serve were being extremely rude and obnoxious towards him. That cashier definitely deserves a raise.

Picked up a order Togo only to realize my order wasn't completely there and the burger looked like it was made last week. Would not recommend

Had the pleasure of visiting the Shake Shack right after a Toastmasters Club meeting. Our group of 8 got our orders quickly. The cheese fries were a hit! The Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich was full of delightful flavor without the slight heat ruining it. If you are a spicy-wimp like me you'll love this one. I personally loved the fifty/fifty, Lemonade and Organic Tea blend, perfect for these extreme humid summers. Everything else on the menu looked great! The seating was comfortably spaced with both contemporary chairs and tables as well as raised barstool tables and chairs. It is well lit but the natural lighting and open design of the floor really enhance the space. Looking forwards to making this a once a month favorite!

It doesn't deserve 1 star. Hamburger was so tasteless and very greasy, the buns were soaked and mushy by the grease. Can't believe people like this place. Will never return nor recommend.

Fantastic burgers! Fries are fine, drinks are good, but the burgers are where it's at here. In the great debate of Shake Shack v In-n-Out v Whataburger, I think I have to say that the shack takes it. (a little painful to admit for this native Texan) The others are great, undoubtedly, but the burgers at Shake Shack just dial it up a notch and provide a fantastic burger experience. The online ordering and pick up are great as well.

Burgers and crinkle cut fries are excellent! Staff is friendly and accommodating. It’s difficult to pick up at this location because of very limited parking.

Loved the atmosphere and the shroom burger. Also they use all environment friendly stuff like non-plastic straws and cups.

Went in with complementary cards that I was given after a poor experience. Manager rudely refused to except my cards saying he would only honor one at a time. It took me years to give this place a second try. I'm never coming back, do yourself a favor, never go to shake shack. Terrible manager, rude people.

The burger was not well done, for such a big place I expected more people and better quality. The staff seemed distracted but still friendly.

This place food has some bomb a** food, I didn’t even get to take a picture of the food because of the smell and taste! Great place for family and friends, open room in the inside and outside. Would recommend the ‘Shroom burger and the mango lemonade combo!

The Korean-Style Fried Chick'n was flavorful, but at only slightly bigger than some slider type sandwiches, $8 is way overpriced.not a lot of value.

The best burgers and shakes in the area. Also they have multiple options, Beef, Veggie and Chicken. Perfect for groups and kids. Varieties of fountain drinks, wine and beer. Clean restaurant, inside and outside tables. I highly recommended.

I love Shake Shack. Great Shakes! Not so much a Shack though, the interior was much nicer than the last shack I've been to. Burgers are great! I love the Shack Stack. If you don't eat meat, the Shroom Burger is great too! I recommend getting the cheese fries as well. Mobile ordering is quick and easy and they never disappoint!
