Shanghai bistro, The Woodlands TX

The service was wonderful and the food is delicious. We've been searching for a place to get really good Chinese food since moving to Texas and we finally found it! We haven't had really good fried crab puffs in almost 20 years and this place finally met our expectations. We'll definition be back!

I have ordered take out from this restaurant two times and have been extremely pleased both times! The food is delicious— some of the best Chinese food I have had! And the portions are very generous! My orange chicken dinner special was could’ve been enough for 2. And the Singapore noodles (which are delicious, but very spicy!) can easily serve 2 or 3 as a side item. I would say this is one of, if not the best Chinese restaurant in The Woodlands. Delicious food, quick and friendly service —five stars all around.

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in the woodlands! They offer healthy options as well as plenty of vegetarian options! The food is so good 10/10 would recommend!

I really like this place, and I've been ordering from here on and off for years. I've mostly done takeaway, but have dined in a few times.
The only negative thing that comes to mind is the restaurant occasionally smells of cleaning chemicals, but I never found that offensive, especially given alternative smells a restaurant could have. I'd rather it be clean.
I most often get mapo tofu with pork, orange chicken, and beef with broccoli. All of which are decent enough to bring me back. Mapo tofu in my limited experience can be pretty hit or miss, but I really like theirs. I don't know that it's going to compete with the best of the best, but this is a favorite, consistent, and reliable restaurant for me, which I'd recommend.

I noticed some negative reviews mentioning the staff rudeness. The worst I've seen is shortness and efficiency. On average, everyone's been very nice and pleasant, and I actually like the shortness on the phone. It makes for a very efficient ping-pong like ordering experience that doesn't waste time. My guess is people are mistaking shortness for rudeness, but I've never gotten the impression anyone was aiming to be rude.

I've known this restaurant for a long time. Family-owned, freshly made food and excellent customer-service. Give them a try. My favorite dish is the shrimp toast!

A great local place with very awesome food! My favorite was the crispy shrimp roll with the sesame chicken! The crispy shrimp rolls were very crispy (my favorite) and the sesame chicken was a classic also very awesome customer service! They’re very attentive and don’t leave you waiting forever but most of all they take care of you. Loved my first experience

The food was pretty delicious we had a big party and it was delicious. And to make matters beter the waitress was super attentive and kept the whole tables drinks filled constantly

This is one of the better Asian restaurants I've found in a while! The food is fantastic, the staff is polite, and though I've never dined in, the atmosphere appears to be very calm.

While in the vicinity during my work hours, I sought a change in my lunch routine and was drawn to this establishment due to its abundance of positive reviews.

Upon my arrival, I discovered a well-maintained restaurant with a tidy and inviting atmosphere, offering an appealing array of lunch options.

Although I initially enjoyed the sweet and sour chicken, I harbor some reservations about it being the optimal choice. The lunch menu featured three soup options, accompanied by a spring roll, and the rice selection could be substituted with noodles, evidently.

The food was served promptly and piping hot, and the prices were reasonably competitive for the area.

The customer service was nothing short of exceptional, truly impeccable.

I would have awarded this place a perfect 5/5 rating had I chosen something more to my personal liking. I intend to delve further into the menu and amend this review if necessary.

Overall, it presents itself as a promising dining option.

Friendly efficient servers. Dinner was served quickly and hot. The moo shu pork was excellent. Hot and sour soup was delicious. Reasonable price.

We always enjoy the quite atmosphere while dinning in until last night. Some lady (or Karen) came in to pick up her to-go order while on her speaker phone. She had to wait for her order to be ready, all the while letting the rest of us to be annoyed by hearing the conversation on her speaker phone. The staff was not willing to confront her upon my request.

Hole-in-the-wall kind of place a hidden Gem. I haven't had Chinese food as good as this in a VERYYY long time. Glad I found one close by, Will be back again with my bf. We recommend ordering literally ANYTHING, the vast amount of options are all good and a great deal for the price. Loved our server she was so attentive (forgot her name) but I'll be on the lookout for her again.

We have been sampling many Asian restaurants in the Woodlands area, trying to find a good one. We quit searching after finding this place. Great quality and value.

You can stop looking for the right Chinese restaurant in the Woodlands, this is it! Lived here for 10 years and we had suffered trying almost all the chinese restaurants in the area and they all missed in something that made us not wanna order chinese anymore.until we FINALLY found this great chinese restaurant that DOESN'T miss with the classics and has some amazing specialty dishes to boot! You HAVE to try the crispy chili chicken!

Great food! I ordered the chicken wings, they were cooked to perfection, juicy and piping hot. I also, ordered the flat white rice noodle combination, also a hit. I needed to-go box, a lot of food.

I was craving Chinese food & found this amazing place. Placing my order over the phone was a breeze along w/ the pickup services as well. The food General Tso & Sweet/Sour chicken we’re both hot & could tell everything was made to order. I definitely recommend 8/10

I always get it delivered and they always deliver it fast! Everything seems super fresh and tasty every time I order. I've probably ordered 15 times now and I will continue to do so!
