They should answer the phone, or at least post on the website, so people know they aren’t taking walk in appointments, so people don’t waste an uber going here to have to just leave

Alma cuts my sons hair. She is so patient and fast. I have never left upset that his haircut was.done wrong. She is awesome!

Irma the stylist understood exactly what we needed for our one year olds year cut and did a great job with his hair. We got a mid long toddler style hair cut with short bangs for the summer and her experience made the drive worth while.

We came here for my son’s first and second cut. It was a GREAT experience! They really made the first cut so special with a certificate, a picture, and a little lock of his curls. They have little TVs to help the kids focus on some thing to keep their heads still. Alma did our second cut, and we will definitely book with her again! She was super fast, kind, and she was just great with my son. He really liked her and was smiling the whole time.

We've been going to Ms. Alma for years now! She is amazing and is always very welcoming to my son. I also love how easy it is to book an appointment online.

Absolutely love the whole experience! My son came in for his first haircut at 9 months old. We wanted to wait until he reached 1 year but since we are getting married in 3 weeks we decided to do it now. Alma handled my son with so much care and got him to trust her for the meantime. We got the whole package of boys haircut, picture and certificate stating his first haircut visit with a balloon of his choice. Will be coming here from now on!

Love taking my son here for his hair cuts. Our to go hair stylist is Alma. She always does an amazing job with my boys cut. Not only is she so talented, she is such a wonderful person.

Yale in heights location, They have a really bad customer service the ladies in there are really rude, they take walk-ins and appointments, but if you don’t make an appointment and you just walk in to get your kid’s hair cut, they just leave you in there waiting without saying a word to you, we were the only ones in there waiting to get a hair cut and Alma and the other lady in there were not busy with a customer and they didn’t bother to tell us a word, so we left to another sharkey’s location… where they do treat theirs customer right! Go to Missouri location they are great

Scheduled an appt.for my 7yr old daughter to have her hair braided for her birthday, while my son was having a haircut. The young lady who tended to my daughter seemed annoyed with me not knowing the correct names for braided hairstyles. I explained I wanted a side braid but she claimed it was cornrows? Which I did in fact look up and was not what I wanted. When finished with the service her braid was very loose and only holding together with the looses type of hair band. I’ve been coming to this location for years and never have received this type of rudeness.

This was our first time here. Took our 2 year old for his first big boy haircut. He ended up getting his cut with Zavar and she was absolutely amazing! Our son was really scared and crying SO much, literally throughout the whole cut, but Zavar was extremely patient and sweet with him. Will definitely be booking with her again! Thank you!

Don't bother walking in if you don't have an appointment. I walked in at 6pm with my daughter asking if they take walk-ins. "Absolutely not! We're closed now. We close at 6. " Clearly they close at 7 and there were 3 other customers there. Regardless, they were extremely rude and I will never attempt to make an appointment. They don't deserve my business.

My name is Kaleb Golden, and for the past six or more years, I have been a consistent patron of Sharkey's Cuts for Kids. Every time I enter the salon, I am greeted by the friendly smiles of EVERY single employee. Until it is my turn, I normally wait in their lounge area. I have been seeing Ms. Alma since I got my first ever haircut. She is not only a gifted hairdresser, a go-getter, and a caring person; she is also a member of my family. I adore how she engages with clients, cultivates personal connections with them, and makes an effort to get to know them on a deeper level. Ms. Alma takes extra precautions when cutting hair, and she will make sure you don't experience any pain when she is cutting your hair. She always goes above and beyond, and I appreciate how she makes sure that you are satisfied with your hair. I highly, highly recommend Ms. Alma.

Made an appointment for my child to get a haircut- left work early and showed up (15 min early) for them to tell me they were not accepting credit cards- only cash. I asked if I could zelle or Apple Pay- they said neither would be accepted.

Internet was down and they could only take cash. No one carries cash anymore so we left. I see from other reviews this has been a problem for days, really would have liked to be notified beforehand so I could get cash.

Response, the review is based on lack of doing anything other than shrugging and saying sorry. In this day and age there’s a lot that can be done, be that apps or hot spotting a phone to your current POS. It seems you still have the issue over a week later without implementing anything other than surprising customers with a cash only policy after they arrive. I’m not here to help your operations but I can’t believe it can be crippled like this.

Mrs Eyme, is the best she has been doing my sons hair since he was 1yrs old and he is now 11yrs old she is sweet, dependable and just awesome, I highly recommend her and Sharkey’s there staff is great and friendly.
