Shawarma Stop reviews
13Editing from a 5 star rating four years ago to a one star. I've been getting shawarma sandwiches from here since they were inside the Shell gas station but after tonight, will never be back no matter where they move to. The meat was clearly overcooked, had the texture of jerky with no flavor whatsoever. I don't believe anyone would serve something like that. Disgusting.
BEST SHAWERMA IN HOUSTON! I grew up in Saudi Arabia. I have tried every single shawerma place in Houston. THIS by far is the BEST.the owner is SUPER customer friendly too. MUST HAVE!
They took over 20 minutes to complete the shawarma order in person when I was the only person in the shop. Totally average gyro wrap, the hot sauce was a teaspoon of commercial red sauce in a to go container. Avoid if possible.
Was cute but guy did not seem happy good food though after a long day at the Museum of Natural Science
Very helpful I would give a 12 outa 10 if I could. Love the soul they poured into the presentation and making of the food.
I ordered a delivery from them.
It took an eras to arrive.
Food was cold and no taste.
Salad was a scam not like pics and didn't deserve the money at all.
Place was much better before the renovation. Quality has dropped while price has risen. Such a shame, this use to be a gem.
This place is awful. The bread that was used for my chicken Shwarma was some kind of tortilla and definitely not pita and it was weirdly sweet. I just had to dump out the meat in a bowl and try to eat it. This place doesn’t even have the chili sauce that any half baked Shwarma place would have. Instead when I asked they gave me hot sauce. The meat had zero flavor and the garlic sauce was sweet? The pickles were okay but overall the experience was a 1 maybe even a zero. Hell even Abu Omar Halal is better than this and they are a subpar Shwarma place too. I’ve had some amazing Shwarma in Houston but this place is far from it. This felt like the Taco Bell equivalent of good authentic Mexican food. Won’t ever be visiting again. I assume from the reviews that those people have never had a good REAL Shwarma before.
Gyro shawarma is my favorite. It's the right balance of meat and condiments. I also love that the sandwich is pressed on the grill for some added flavor. Their fries are inconsistent. Got an order today that was clearly not fresh and curly. Not a fan.
Store bought pita! Bland hummus and lamb was a little tough. Not worth $50 for two kabob lunches.
Honestly I should’ve listen to the reviews, But the customer service was so good. I gave them a change. Never again, they gave me a nasty quesadilla NOT a delicious Shawarma. Don’t get me wrong I love quesadilla, but the good kind.
This place is cute on the inside, but I also love the outside seating area. It’s such a nice place for friends to gather for a meal, dessert, or both. I have only tried a few things on the menu so far, but I’m happy with what I have had. They seem to put a lot of effort into the presentation of the dishes they serve. Everything I have ordered not only tastes good, but looks great as well.
Whoh. This place uses tortillas for bread and Mexican hot sauce. The giro tasted good but definitely not authentic mediteranian. Not coming back.
