My truck broke down on the side of the road and I had it towed to Shepherd’s Auto Care. They did great work. The only thing I found a bit annoying is I usually had to call for info on my truck. They called me once and kept my truck for a week.
My dad also took his truck here to get all the tune ups before driving it 54 hours to and from Seattle, WA. Never had an issue the whole trip.
And currently, Shepherd’s Auto Care is replacing the engine in our Jeep along with tuning it up for a one-way trip to Seattle, WA.
My family trusts Shepherd’s Auto Care with our vehicles because they’ve done great work, they let us know what needs immediate fixing and what can wait, they speak to us with respect and they help explain things to us.

Fabulous service! I called to see how busy they were and was told to come on over. I went an hour later and had my car serviced immediately. A mechanic took it for a short test drive to hear the sounds I described. I needed my front brake pads replaced and they had it done in about 3 hours including their lunch break. I had been given a ride home and then picked up after the service was done. The price was lower than I thought. I'm always worried about being taken advantage of at repair shops since I'm a woman and ignorant about cars, but I did not feel that way at all here. I felt respected and will definitely return here for any more car trouble.

Was charging me for stuff I didn't need. Took it to different auto garage.glad I got 2nd opinion I also asked for pic (proff) it was needed they refused.

I recently moved to the area and was looking for an auto repair close by because my starter was going bad. So I drove up, told them the issue and they took me right away! I even got a ride back home.
I got a call within the hour and since they already knew the problem, Paul said they would only charge half to do the other diagnostics. He suggested a rebuilt starter because they were cheaper.
I also told him to check the front brakes because I thought that I might need them. He said the brakes were still good! Some garages could've went ahead and done the brakes since I brought it up but they were honest and that was refreshing!
They did the job fast and came to pick me up to get back to the garage.
I had the car a couple days and the starter didn't sound right so I went back. The mechanic came out to listen and agreed. This was not their fault as bad out of the box parts do happen.
I asked if they could put a new one in instead of a rebuilt. Since I'm in business myself, I know they mark-up the cost of the parts so I told them I'd be happy to pay the difference plus the mark-up.
It was late in the afternoon so they asked if I could come in first thing in the morning. I brought the car in, got a ride home and they were finished in about 2 hours. They picked me up from home right away and when I got to the garage, Paul only charged me their additional cost of the new starter with no mark up. The new starter sounded great!
I was totally impressed with the whole experience. They will be my go to garage whenever I need service and repairs and I'll also recommend them to my friend and neighbors.

Would not recommend. Took them about a month to fix my car. Now my car has a oil leak and I don't want to take my car back there because it might be there for another month.

Very pleased. They got me right in and by right in I mean I called they said cmon over and I was in. Work was excellent they did a front to back inspection of my truck on top of fixing my AC that I bought it in for and they took me home and came back and got when the work was done at a very reasonable price. I will be returning here for all my repair work

I work here. And it is by far the best place I've worked for. The owner/manager is understanding not only to his customers but to his employees. His generosity and knowledge helps get jobs done accurately and in a timely manner. I recommend sheperd's to anyone who needs auto repair done right.

Well.my truck has been there for about 5 months now and when I call they tell me its going to be ready next week.and every week it's the same. I definitely will not recommend this place.don't waste your time or your money here

They are great people to talk to, they provide outstanding service in a timely manner, they communicate more than any other auto care place I've been in (in and out of Lubbock) and explain everything that's going on with my car every step of the way. It is such a pleasure to work with these gentlemen. I highly recommend them.

Not good mechanics lots of run around and still end up with a vehicle that runs the same as it did when taken in they had the vehicle for almost a year and im still having exact same problems they tell u just bring it back in 4 times and nine months later wow will never take them any vehicles anymore
