10Love getting my donuts here. They are always fresh and the people are nice. My daughter loves there donut holes.
Used to come here since I was kid, before the neighborhood started dying due to gentrification, when they had the police car clock on the wall. Anyways, service is bad and the donuts and sausage and cheese kolaches were sloppy. I know you can do better, I've been coming since the late 80s.
Thus is the best shipley in H-town. I grew up in SWAT and this was a morning staple for everyone. Always the freshest hottest Glaze doughnuts and the kolaches are cooked right where the bread is cooked a little extra so it does not taste so doughy like other locations. Always super cold Borden milk and for a little extra note you don't even have to ask for hot freshies (fresh glazed doughnut) because that's how they get served all of the time. This shipleys is the king of doughnuts in the!
The donuts are always good the only thing I have to complain about is that with four people employees sitting in the lobby door was closed and it said drive-thru only and nobody acknowledged me and told me to go around. The man in the window was nice though could use some customer service training
Service suck. Every time I ask for fresh glazed donuts they can’t never make a fresh batch. And it seems like they are lazy and don’t feel like being there
I love going to shipleys every now and then and this location is the best. Employees are so sweet and kind.
Best donuts of any Shipley's. Kolaches need a lot of work hence the minus star. Best Shipley's kolaches are at the west Belfort and 59 location IMO.
Love their donuts, I’m always in and out I don’t have to wait so long and even though the people don’t know much Spanish they still manage to get my order right and try to always understand me and have a smile in their face great job love the donuts their always warm ️
Their food is freshly prepared and there is no queue anytime you get there. The staff are efficient
