Wide selection of annual and native perennials, 4 inch to gallon sizes, vines, shrubs, pots, soil, amendments. House plants, vegetables, herbs, tools, soil, seeds. Very well laid out. Limited parking.

I love this place. The owner gives solid plant advise. They have beautiful healthy plants that are not treated with long lasting bee harming chemicals. They also have fantastic potting soil as opposed to the bags of bark that the big box stores call soil.

Flowers are good but the customer service isn't. This was my first time so I had a few questions for a few of the workers there. They all had really negative attitudes and didn't put much effort into helping whatsoever. Won't be coming back.

I recently had a disappointing experience with this flower nursery. I explained to the staff that I needed flowers that could survive outside, hang, and were easy to maintain. Despite being assured that the flowers I purchased met these criteria, they all died within 24 hours of bringing them home.

When I contacted the shop to request a refund or replacement, I was informed that they do not offer either. I asked to speak with the owner, and was told that they would call me back, but they never did. This lack of customer service and support is unacceptable.

As a result, I cannot recommend this flower nursery to others. They do not prioritize customer satisfaction or product quality, and their refusal to stand behind their products is disappointing. If you are considering purchasing from this establishment, I urge you to exercise caution and consider other options.

As consumers, we deserve better than to be taken advantage of by businesses that do not uphold basic standards of transparency and honesty. I hope that my review serves as a warning to others and encourages the flower nursery to improve their practices in the future.

Awful help, rude cashier, they belittle you if you don't know the name of plants, worst parking, head over to The Great Outdoors on Congress, they enjoy there work!

Hey guys! I bought so many plants here and recently three Camelia's. I called today because I had a question about them and the lady who answered in the middle of my second question said, "ok bye" and hang up the phone. My call lasted 43 seconds including the answering machine. I'm sure you're busy but don't have to be rude.

The only place me and my wife come for our plants. The staff is wonderful, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. I can’t say anything negative about coming here. It’s been a joy shopping here for the past 7 years and we will continue to always come exclusively here.

I love this place. Home Depot and Lowe's had almost nothing to choose from at this time of year. At Shoal Creek Nursery today I bought fennel, Mexican Feather Grass, multi color Bougainvillea, tropical milkweed, zinnias, cone flower and Blue Daze. They had lots of other herbs, vegetables, fruit trees and native plants to choose from. I was happy! They also honor military discount.

Good luck getting someone on the phone so you don't waste a trip there.

Edit: moved to three stars. But please consider changing the machine to say "please call back later. " Rather than end the call.

My favorite neighborhood nursery. They have beautiful landscape plants, seasonal yard decor, seeds, pots, hanging baskets, bulbs, trees, shrubs, water devices, bedding material and thermal plant covers. Everything is high quality and the staff very helpful. They get this neighborhood Realtor’s thumbs up!

I wanted to like Shoal Creek Nursery because it's near my house and I wanted it to be my go-to place. But every time I've been there it's been hard to find someone to help me and no one has ever actually asked if I need help despite me wandering around totally looking like I do! This Wednesday I went there in the morning thinking "okay cool, it's the morning on a weekday, they won't be busy and maybe I can chat with someone" but nope. Not a person asked to help me, not a person easily available in sight. When I left there were three of them chatting by the registers. I guess I could have flagged one down but glad I didn't because the very sickly looking maple that I passed on was $250 and I ended up getting a healthy one that was twice the size from Newton's Nursery up north for $240. I might come back here if I need a small plant in a pinch but as someone who needs actual guidance on plants, sadly, this is not the place for me.

Great selection! Thoughtful layout with knowledgeable, helpful staff. Lots of beautiful pots and planters, too. Bonus points if you can spot the resident cats.

Great people who like being helpful, that's always the basis. The experience is further elevated by a much improved layout. It feels cheerful, abundant. The garden out back with moving water is still there.

Something for all of us: a lot of plants ready now, solid seed array, and any taste in pots, the huge and bold being especially compelling. You can grow citrus trees in these, which would become the focal point of the whole house. In winter, still green and even productive. Buy on dwarf rootstock or have a high ceiling in a space with windows on the south. Mmm.

Back to earth, for the hardcore veg gardener, a full range of seeds from growers of open-pollinated quality. I bought Botanical Interests and Seed Savers Exchange both. Usually mail order, but this way you have the info on packets to decide, and support local.

Fall gardening here already after this rain broke the 100+. New (to me) 3' green & purple Asian Kale, snow peas, purple broccoli, more; wild bergamot to draw pollinators and add leaves to mint for an herbal drink.

This is so Austin!
