The food was okay. Not like Vintage Park Area. Being greeted was like what are you doing here an hour before close. So Service was slow. The food was still decent. Shaggy Dog and a dinner box full of food. I would never come here again in the late hours. It was next to the movie theater. Thought I’d give it a try.

Food is good mind you this my first time which gave me bad experience due to one the worker chase me after where I had my car parked and demanded for more tip because I didn’t leave good tip enough for them which I think unpleasant and unprofessional I’m not coming back at all thank you for this bad experience I didn’t want to have. Never again …

Horrible! We waited 45 minutes I finally said something, we basically couldn’t eat until more people came. They only had ONE hibachi chef. Then didn’t even apologize for having us wait. They should have told us that at the beginning.

First time trying this place. When we arrived I thought hmmm the lot is empty…. No one else is here? That’s usually not a good sign. I found out why once we were inside, waiting over 45 minutes and still no food. After notifying them we were leaving, the response was,

1. We only have one chef today.
—On a Saturday? He cooked for the group right across from us and left.
2. We don’t start cooking until there’s more than two people at the table
—There were two adults and two kids with us
3. There was a reservation before you
—-Party wasn’t even all there or seated before we sat down. So he cooked for the party of 3 at our table, left for a break I guess, and went to the reservation of 7. So now we are supposed to wait 30 more minutes until you finish cooking for them? ! By this time 2 more people joined us…still no chef.

I guess you either have to make a reservation, take more than 3 people with you or wait until someone else decides to dine here to get service.
Orrrrrr here’s an idea! Give people the option when they first arrive!

Wait time was an hour, then we waited at the table for 45 minutes and the chef did not come to our Habatchi. We ended up leaving. Such a waste of time, staff was very slow

Family of 4 for dinner and the place was empty except for the bar (3 people). We all got the meat, fried rice, vegetable, salad and soup meal. Two were incorrect (tepenyaki instead of teriyaki) two glasses empty for a while, later the waitress kept them full. The fried rice came out much later than the steak/chicken which is a problem; we eat them together. The rice was oily and had too much pepper. Med-rare meat overcooked. This place used to be great.: - (

Walked in at 5: 15 and asked for hibachi. We were seated and they took out drink orders. The guy came back about 10 minutes later with 2 more people for our table, took their drink orders and then brought ours and theirs. They took the other parties order and then our order. They then seated a party of 4 at another table and took their order. Then we all waited. And waited. We asked what was taking so long and they started cooking the other parties food that was seated almost half an hour after us. They were also a party of 4 so why was our party of 4 not good enough to cook for immediately? Why did they make us wait for 2 more people but not them? Finally after waiting for 50 minutes they told us it was because the other party ordered an appetizer so we all had to wait? They tell us 2 more minutes and we decided to just leave. The owner caught us on the way out and insisted we stay. The food was cooked well and tasted fine but not worth it for an almost 2 hour meal.

Horrible service. Went in and asked for hibachi. Was told 10-15 min wait. Said ok give me regular dining. Guy comes back and says regular dining is also 10-15 min wait. Said would wait for hibachi. Wait about 10 mins and host comes back to tell me hibachi is now 45-60 mins because a party of 20 has made a reservation for hibachi.
Proceed to regular dining. Order food. Pepsi comes out and is flat. Try to get hostess attention and can't for atleast 5 mins. Finally tell the hostess and she proceeds to forget about it. 15 mins later she asks if we still want the Pepsi.
Edamame comes out and it's cold. Wait for the check for 20+ mins.

I understand places are short staffed but there is a limit to the patience u expect patrons to have in the name of being short staffed.

Where to start? Went for lunch and they don’t have a full menu so can’t order apps or pieces of sushi or sashimi. Seems very weird. Then ordered two rolls which for 14 dollars each- was 95% rice- no thanks. Much better sushi from other places around.

We were disappointed with our latest visit.

The mens room was not clean. Quite dirty.

The Nori in the Shaggy Dog was soggy which means they do not use the best Nori.

This visit was not as expected. I don't think we will visit here again.

We were there on Mothers Day for lunch. They did not offer a lunch menu.

I am a Vietnam Veteran and they did give us a military discount.

The Katy location is excellent, but this location is alright. The food here comes in smaller portions and is sometimes flavorless, like their soups.

I think if this location were 20% cheaper than the Katy location, the quality drop would be justified. But it isn't.

Had my daughters 10 birthday lunch here and all the kids really enjoyed the show and food. Staff was very attentive and took good care of us. Second year in a row that we celebrated her birthday lunch her and will probably continue to do so.

Glass in the food and the A /hole manager refuse to refund our food that we didn’t eat. The whole table got sick. Find another place to dine. The place is very unsanitary and the employees are very rude and disrespectful and they didn’t even allow us to take pictures of the glass.

We’ve been coming here for over 15 years and this is the first time we’ve had a bad meal. It was so bad we couldn’t eat it. The service and drinks were great but the food was burnt, oily, no had no flavor.

Great staff, strong cocktails, lively atmosphere. The food is good.took a bit of a hit after COVID, but it's getting better. Nice place for a birthday party (had one there last year). There is a private room with 4 hibachi tables, fits a party of 32. Was so cool!

Me and my better half enjoyed the sushi rolls and the service was on point. We were impressed with the whole atmosphere

The host Samuel is a great host. He set my friend and I pretty nicely and gave great insight on their menu.

3/5 of us got sick immediately after eating. Also a guy sitting across from us had the stomach issue as well. I know this because he was yelling gestures about wanting to use the toilet and that I was taking my time on the toilet (only one toilet). Food wasn’t great, sprite tasted weird, Bad stomach cramps instantly. Sushi was okay. Our food came fast and the server seemed nice. Atmosphere is good.
