I’m gonna leave a good review for this place because the food is always Amazing. We come here often and always get a lot to eat.
However the service from the bartender today was so horrible I almost don’t want to come back.
We were the only people at the bar at 6: 30pm. We didn’t get greeted for 5-6 minutes. She didn’t get us our waters for another 5 minutes because she was too busy eating her own food. We had to wait another 10 minutes to give her our order because she was preoccupied with talking about anime with a different customer who had already checked out and was heading out the door.
She stood with her back to us eating and dancing the entire time we were waiting for our food. We got appetizers with no plates. We didn’t get drinks refilled until we asked twice.

We came here to celebrate a friends birthday and had a terrible experience.
Food was 10/10 as always but this was the worst service I’ve ever had here.

This is my opinion only…
I’m sorry to say, but there so many better restaurants for ramen in Houston. Basic things like the egg and meat choice that come included in other ramen restaurants require additional charges here. It is too expensive for the quality of food, and I will not return.

You all should get the oxtail ramen, it will not be disappointing and fill you up!

The food does take a while to come out but it is guaranteed fresh and hot.
Everything I ordered was delicious.
I recommend the chicken Kore-age and the oxtail ramen ofcourse.
They were playing demon slayer on the tv when I went and it was awesome watching it while eating some delicious food!
The vibe is chill and they had string lights and manga strips as wallpaper

Everything was fantastic! I rarely get deserts when eating out but the moshi ice cream was calling to me and OMG it was soooo good!

First time and will never return. Ordered online for pickup, showed up and asked about my food told it would be 10 minutes. Asked again 10 minutes later same response. Third time I ask they finally let me know that they haven’t even started my food yet. I watched a family walk in, eat, and leave in the entire time I should have had my food. Never again.

If you like anime and Ramen this place is for you! The ramen is awesome. Broth is delicious and the pork belly is to die for. If you're vegan they have tofu and good veggie selection.
This place will not disappoint and it has a nice bar and 2 to 3 animes going so you can choose which one you wanna watch.
Don't forget to order some dumplings great appetizers too

The chicken kore-age was served in a to go container. I’m not sure if that is standard. It was also cold and soggy when we received it. It came out the same time as the ramen so that means it was ready way before the ramen and never ran. They also didnt put an egg in my ramen which was included. The only reason there is three stars instead of one is because the bartender tried her absolute best to reconcile the situation and got me an extra egg for forgetting to get it the first time i asked and i received a discount on the bowl of ramen. I’ve heard good things about this place and overall the food was good so i will give it another shot.

The food was filling and delicious! Especially if you try the surf and turf bowl, had to get take out bowls but that just shows how fast the food can fill you up! Servers were very polite and patient. And everyone in the restaurant was super friendly, the table next to us even started up a conversation. Overall experience 10/10 for the first time coming here!

First off going at the time and day I did and still recieving incredible service has to be commended. That being said I essentially had the freshest bowl of ramen and first bowl of the day. Unfortunantely despite this the ramen (original tonkotsu) was not good. Very bland broth and noodles reminded me of maruchan noodles. The gyoza was okay, ive had better. All in all this place is the only 24 hour ramen place in houston so that and its vast menu is proof that there will be something you enjoy here no matter what time of day. I will return again at some point and try something new to update my review but as of now if you are in the mood for sopme ramen and everywhere else is closed, This is your spot. Great service and very fun and cool "anime" atmosphere, but unfortunately the staples of any ramen place (tonkostu and gyoza) were just not good or worth choosing over tamashi which I have yet to find anything better yet (and agu but the houston ramen community suffered a loss by losing them) I look forward to revisiting in the future and updating/upgrading my score. I know this place has the potential to be a top contender but at the moment it remains as a place you *might* go to if you are close and nothing else is open.

My recent dining experience at the restaurant, where our server was "Alexis" according to the receipt, was extremely disappointing. We arrived on a relatively slow evening with only a few occupied tables, but warning signs emerged immediately. Another table informed us that they had been waiting for their food for over two hours.
Despite this, we remained hopeful, thinking it might be an isolated incident. Our server took basic fountain drinks order promptly, However, after 10 minutes of waiting for our appetizers, our drinks were nowhere in sight.
Our appetizers finally arrived, but we had to remind our server about our drinks. Concerned about the time it might take for our main meals, we all ordered the same dish to expedite the process.
As we waited for our food, our server seemed more interested in chatting with other staff members. After a grueling 35 minutes, only one ramen arrived at our table. To our dismay, it took nearly an hour to receive just one ramen and two appetizers.
This experience was frustrating, especially considering the slow night. We approached our server to speak with a manager, but were told there was no manager available. As we were leaving, a woman who claimed to be in charge made no effort to resolve the situation and responded with a dismissive "if you have a problem, say it to my face. "
I cannot recommend this restaurant. It's clear that little to no care is given to the guests, as other patrons echoed our frustrations. It's disheartening to see a restaurant with a promising appearance have employees who seem indifferent to the patrons who support their business.

I had an outstanding experience at Shokku Ramen, and I must give a special shoutout to the nighttime server with glasses. He was not only a great guy but went above and beyond to answer my questions and even helped me test out different spice levels for my ramen.

Throughout the meal, he made sure to check in with me multiple times to ensure everything was to my liking. The attentive service truly added to the dining experience.

In terms of pricing, the create-your-own bowl was quite fair compared to their signature bowls. I'm intrigued by the Shinigami challenge and plan to tackle it on a future visit, especially since no one has conquered it at this location.

What's even cooler is that Shokku Ramen is a 24/7 ramen place and has anime playing. As a fellow nerd, I couldn't ask for a better combination. The anime vibes and delicious ramen make this spot a must-visit for any anime enthusiast and food lover alike.

My 2nd time trying this place, first time wasn't the best but it was a bit busy and waiter wasn't the best (might have been nee) so I wanted to give it a 2nd chance and.if Im honest I have been let down. I ordered an ichiraku with drowning gyosas, the gyosas were delicious, 1st time and this 2nd time however the main dish was pretty.sucky to say the least.the 1st time I had to send it back because it was seriously cold.like how can a ramen be served cold? They warmed it up (microwave or whatever Im not picky) but the taste was still not the greatest.today on my 2nd visit the ramen was yet again cold, not as cold as before, I can feel some warmth in it but honestly after 2 mins it felt like it was sitting there for 45 mins.my 1st time I came with friends, I payed for myself and my friend, I spent nearly 7
$75 and we were not even offered drinks, they just brought waters, my friend ordered the shinigami and it was salty, she left nearly half of it, it was cold also but not as bad as mine.
I.really wish I could like it but honestly for the prices I have payed this should be one of my top 5 places when in reality I wouldn't even recommend it.my waiter was nice this last time, dont get me wrong he didnt check up on me constantly buuuut I think Im ok with it cuz I was to tired so not being bothered was nice this time, anyways, in overall this place is a 2/10.not woth the price.
