Short Stop, Austin TX

Now this is my spot.i love the slush there is good. (strawberry lemonade) this place was around when I was 14, I'm 41 now and they still have a awesome fish sandwich.

Good service, nice people, good food, once a week! Fast service! Like the fries, good Price's!

Service was fast (even for 5pm) and good but food was entirely mid, fountain Dr Pepper tasted off, fries tasted really cheap, burger itself was alright

My first time here, and the customer service was great, friendly at the window and I got my food fast too. I started eating the fries right away, while they were still warm so I parked down the street to eat my bacon burger and fries and Cherry limeade. All were so good, I highly recommend this location, but I don’t think anyone needs my encouragement on here, they had cars wrapped around their building and I had no idea they had a double drive thru til I drive up to check it out. When a place gets a lot of business like that, you know it’s good

The food was great. The customer service not so much and they didn't follow their fault special prices.

The Lady Manager was very very rude and she did not want to give me my frozen strawberry lemonade, just a frozen lemonade and when I asked for the strawberry syrup she insisted I pay extra for it. Very Bad service for a manager!

The service was quick but I requested my burger to be a certain way and it was the same as the basic burgers, most of the time I get what I request.

Shortstop has a very decent burger. Even though the drive-thru line did not seem long I did wait probably more than 10 minutes before I could even order, and then another 4 to 5 minutes after that. Seemed like kind of a long wait for one burger and fries.

I'm an original Austinite and have lived here 40 plus years. Long story short we end up in East Austin at one of my favorite places to grab a bite to eat. Location is good, staff is friendly and the food omg so so good. Just as i remember afro. When I was a child. So yes I called the store when I got home to south Austin and had to let them know. The food was very good. The lady at the window needs a little customer service training. I remember this place from years ago and was disappointed it was no seasoning on my fries.

Horrible customer service, the drive thru lady couldn't take an order to save her life, the cashier was even worse. If you don't have patience or time, do not come here.

I absolutely love this place My family and I really enjoy their food and fast service, employees are always customer friendly although today the 1st of June was the first time I ever had a bad experience with the customer service I apologize for my complicated order due to my allergy she said it doesn't matter all customers want something different it can never just be a simple Burger I apologize to her cuz it made me feel terrible she said no worries. But the owner he is great the rest of the staff is always awesome and amazing. Food is always fresh and enjoyable.

Always juicy, good flavor, fries were cold, but I did come 15min till closing. It was late evening and I just wanted a damn good burger. That part was great and so was the price. The service was friendly too!

Enjoy their hamburger combo, which burger is made to order. Their BLT is full of bacon. The chicken strip combo is great.

Our cashier was so nice and our burgers tasted like heaven sandwiches.and our fries kinda burned our fingers but in a good way.

This place was awesome they were extremely fast, but yet the flavor or quality of the food did not suffer everything was so delicious and the staff was completely professional from the cleanliness of the restaurant to the way I was spoken to and respected this will be the place for me anytime I am in those neck of the woods!

Just had a chili cheeseburger and fries and they were out of this world! Great place to come get the best burger in Austin and fries to die for! Short Stop Rocks!
